I finished getting ready and looked at the time, it was around three thirty. Ash and I talked a little and I decided it was time to go. I left, I arrived at Busy Bean and sat at a table. I was early so I wasn't expecting Auggie to be here any time soon. I put my head in my hand and started playing games on my phone.

I sighed while I waited for Auggie, I heard the door jingle, so I looked up to find Auggie walking in. He was searching for my face and saw it within the group of people. He smiled and walked toward the table, I smiled and said, "Auggie, sit down". August sat down on the chair and looked around the coffee shop. Auggie smiled and said, "You're probably wondering why I called you here".

I nodded with furrowed brows. The waiter walked toward the table and said, "Hey Adda, what do you want to order?". Auggie turned to the waiter, I saw him blush. Wow a little crush. I smiled and Auggie said, "You know her?".

I couldn't tell who he was talking to, so I said, "Yeah August this is Rose". Rose whipped her head around and said, "I already know August". I moved my head backward shocked and said, "How do you too know each other?". Rose said, "Well August is my ex-best friend". August turned his head down and said, "Rose, I'm sorry".

Rose faked a smile and said, "Excuse me for a second". She walked away from the table, and I saw her go to the back. I turned my head and said, "Are you alright?". August nodded and said, "She was one of my best friends, I had a huge crush on her. I started dating this girl so I could forget her but, Rose slowly distancing herself from me. I still to this day don't know why but, one of her friends slapped me across the face and I realized it was probably something I did. I had this gut feeling so I broke up with the girl, I didn't know Rose worked here. If I did I wouldn't have asked you to come".

My eyes widened and I leaned forward, Auggie looked up from his napkin and said, "Anyway we didn't come her to talk about my failing relationships, I want to know more about you. I want to know if you are good enough for Ash, no offense". I raised my hands and said, "None taken".

Rose's POV

I stormed to the employee door; He has the audacity to apologize. Does he know what he did, that prick! HOW DARE HE SAY ALL THAT DUMB CRAP TO HIS GIRLFRIEND ABOUT ME. I busted open my boss's office door and said, "Arlo, I can't cater to table five. He's my old friend, we ended on really bad terms". Arlo looked up from his computer and said, "Rose, I can't let you do that. It's not professional, you are going to have to deal with it, I'm doing this, so you know how to be professional in even the most uncomfortable situations. Now unless he harassed you or actual harmed you, go cater that table, if not we can kick him out". I sighed and walked out of his office, I can't do that because even though he's said all that stuff about me, I still care about his stupid face.

Adalyn's POV

"My favorite color is blue". Auggie smiled and said, "Okay onto the important stuff". I nodded and August continued, "What's your favorite thing about dating Ash?". I sighed and thought, I said, "Our conversations, I love talking to him". August smiled and said, "Aww okay, what's your least favorite thing about dating him?".

I smiled and said, "How much I worry him". Auggie smiled and said, "Wow these are good answers okay, what was the first thing you noticed about my friend?". I laughed and said, "His face". Auggie tilted his head and I said, "Okay let me explain, he looked like he was stealing, and his face showed he was scared so it just furthered my suspicion". August laughed and said, "Was it at Will's and shop, that's his uncle".

I nodded and said, "well I know now". August smiled and said, "Okay, okay, what was the best date you've gone on with Ash?". I laughed and said, "We don't really go on dates. I like when we just chill and make jokes with each other. But I'd have to say when we went baking with Lili, that was really fun".

August wasn't paying attention by the time I looked back at him. He was staring at Rose who was walking back to the table. Rose said, "Alright how can I take your order?". August whispered, "What did I do that made you leave me?". It was so quiet and calm, Rose turned around and said, "How do you not know? do you not remember telling your girlfriend about how you were only friends with me because I was being bullied, how I was poor, how I would be nothing without you? It hurt even more because I knew that too! it hurt because it was true!". August shook his head and said, "That's not-". We all turned our heads, the door jingled and in walked... Meghan.

Why am I laughing, I just imagined everyone stopping and turning there head and everyone thinking Meghan like Drake and Josh or something😭🤚
