Leo Jr's pov
"After what she's done for you how dare you switch up?," Kira mutters angrily peering at me.
"I play by what I'm given and as you can see your little friend is nowhere to be found. How convenient," I bluntly say.
"Get your head out of your ass. It's clear that she got caught up. Padilla was the last one to see her with your little whore that played you may I remind," Kira grumbles rolling her forest green eyes.
I take a moment of silence taking into account everything that has been presented. She's right, Padilla has informed us that Amoret played as a team member when it came to rescuing my sister. I still don't understand why Amoret stayed behind. This is where I feel she may have played another role, a role of betrayal.
"The more you waste time you're only fastening her funeral," Kira utters breaking me from my thoughts.
"And that's why you will play the biggest role in retrieving her as well as getting us in," my father intervenes taking lead into what he and I have discussed before interrogating Kira.
"To save her I'll do what it takes. Untie me, so we can get moving," Kira hurriedly says as my father and I give each other the look. What I am about to say will only piss her off more than she already is, but it's our best bet considering Kira isn't exactly a trusted member of Romanov.
"Before such thing is done there's one more thing you have to know," I add. Kira scrunches her eyebrows before asking, "what?"
"There's no way you'll be able to get us in when it comes to Romanov's location. Therefore, an actually active and trustworthy Russian member will have to be included in this mission of ours."
"Okay?," Kira confusedly mutters.
"Hello partner," Dimitry says as he enters the room handcuffed. Israel pushes Dimitry to remove the smirk that was currently formed within his lips at the sight of Kira.
"Oh fuck no," Kira angrily shouts as she suddenly kicks the table since she's handcuffed onto her chair. However, Rubio is quick to catch the table preventing it from fully flying across the room.
"Calm the fuck down. You know he's our best shot to getting to them and your friend, so hold it together," my father utters losing his patience. He isn't one for theatrical drama.
"You're making a mistake. The moment he gets in he will betray you and ruin this entire mission," Kira grumbles.
"You have a better idea Kira? Please enlighten us," I ask crossing my arms across my chest waiting for a response that never came. Kira thinks, but instantly lets out a breathe of pure frustration knowing this is the only way.
"Dimitry knows what's at stake if he double crosses us right Dimitry?," I sternly say peering at him.
"I don't like killing grannys, but for tonight I'll make the exception," Sniper says smirking at Dimitry. Rizo was able to track into Dimitry's background and pulled up his grandmother's location. From what we've gathered, that's the only family left for him. And that's our very leverage to get him to do what we need.
"Better make your way to visit granny Sniper," I say causing Dimitry to glare at me.
"There's no need to repeat little boss. I know," Dimitry responds completely under our control.
"I still don't trust him," Kira mutters glaring at Dimitry the entire time.
"You don't have to trust him, but only work with him," my father responds. Kira doesn't say anything anymore only nodding knowing this is how we must proceed. It's going to be very risky, but this is the only card we have left to use to once and for all to end this war.
"Everyone out," my father orders.
"Rios, bring me Atalia," I instruct having another thing to deal with.
After a few minutes, Rios brings her in hands tied behind her back. As soon as her honey colored eyes reach me. She immediately looks down knowing she messed up big time.
"I swear I was forced to do it," Atalia hastily says not waiting at all for us to question her.
"Do what?," my father asks.
"There was a day I was coming by to see him, but instead I came across a blue eyed man. He immediately struck me in the face and the next thing I knew I was at some warehouse. They forced me to lure them to your sister or else they would of killed me," Atalia's voice cracks as she begins to cry.
"They could have killed my daughter," my father angrily scolds causing Atalia to jump from fright.
"You better have something to tell me or else," I warn before she cuts me off.
"I do I do," she breathes before she catches her breathe before continuing on, "those Russians had plans with that chick you had in your home. Not sure exactly what plans as they kept me locked in a dark room most of the time. I did hear they were suppose to kill your sister that day. That's why I was trying to sneak her out before I was caught."
I stay silent as I process what she just shared with me. I feel my blood boil as I hear that indeed there was plans between Amoret and them. I brush this part all the way to the back of my head putting my sister first.
"Just for that act you're free to go, but don't you ever dare come back here nor near me. If you do, you're dead," I bluntly threaten Atalia. She doesn't say anything only nodding. I can tell she's hurt by my words as she always wanted more. However, whatever she may have wanted to say she decides not to. I signal Rios to remove her from the premises and he takes her. This would be the very last time I ever see or hear from her.
"Are you ready to head out?," my father says warily watching me.
"Always," I reply.
My father and I grab our guns from the table arming it getting ready to make our way to end this war once and for all. They wanted war and now that's exactly what they'll get.
Romanov versus Castillo.
