You sprinted down the halls as the cries seemed to get louder and louder. You turned down another corridor when you seen your toddler sitting there is a circle of flames as he cried and threw a fit. You immediately ran over to one of the caretakers of your son when you were away.

She looked at you with a horrified look as you bent down to pick your son up.

"Arthur, shhhh," you hushed your baby as you picked him up and held him close to you. "What happened?" You then asked the nanny.

"I don't know, one minute I was trying to find him roaming the castle, the next he was following some guards and they didn't see him, and when I tried to pick him up and carry him away he started to cry," she explained in a hurried tone. You sighed before turning to look at Arthur who had his head in the crook of your neck while he cried.

"You're okay, you're okay," you said as you started to bounce a little bit to smooth his crying. "I'll take him," you told the caretaker before turning around and walking back towards the training grounds.

When you got there Sif gave you a confused look before she seen Arthur's tears. Her features immediately softened as she walked over to you.

"What's wrong, Arthur?" She asked in a soft tone.
He made a soft humming sound as if to say no as you rolled your eyes.

"It happened again," you said as you then placed him on the ground and held on to his hand as you spoke to Sif.

As you spoke about training and teaching you kind of let go of Arthur and he started to make his way over to the weapons rack. When he reached the rack he was about to reach for a sword when someone took it before he could.

"I think this belongs to you," you heard someone say as you looked over from talking to Sif. There stood Magnus with Arthur in one hand and a sword in another.

"Oh my god," you said frantically as you took Arthur from Magnus. "I am so sorry, I am such a bad mom," you added as you kneeled down to hug your son.

Sif and Magnus chuckled at your statement as you stood up.

"Maybe if you hadn't given him your attitude he would be easier to keep alive," Magnus said with a smile. You smiled at him before smiling at Arthur.

"You're going to be the death of me, son," you said before you heard footsteps behind you. You slowly stood up and turned around to see Heimdall standing there with his arms crossed. You gave him a nervous smile as his features softened and his arms fell.

"I guess it's half my fault as well, I shouldn't have showed him the Bifrost Sword," Heimdall said with a smug expression. You then punched his arm as he chuckled at your response.

You then watched as Arthur walked over to Heimdall as tapped his leg. Heimdall then leaned down and picked him up with ease before they both looked over at you. Heimdall with his golden, magical eyes, and Arthur with his crystal blue, brilliant eyes.

You smiled at them both as Arthur held out his hand and made a small flame. You then placed your hand on top of the flame and extinguished it before shaking his little hand.

(First Short story, done. Idk how many I'm going to make, if you have any suggestions on what I should write then let me know. I'm open to suggestions.)
