The Past
Heejin's POV
Being the daughter of a well-to-do woman had it's advantages. I did my best to learn different skills and languages as my mom always encouraged me and motivated me to do so. I always studied as I loved learning new things, new lessons.
I was at the top of my whole grade, and at some point I was twice as smart as the students in the grade ahead of me.
My IQ level was up to 130, but I was no match for my brother. The one I treasured with my whole heart. He was the one with high IQ making him highly gifted. I miss him so much.
With the skills I had, I could even open up a new business, but I honestly wasn't up for that. It reminded me too much of home, of the life I used to have and the life I could've had.
That's why I'm here trying to live a easier life as an accountant, but that didn't turn out great at all. I'd rather become a waitress than to stay with that wackhead boss of mine. It was simpler but who ever said it wasn't hard. The job was alright and so was it's pay but the past would always come to haunt me.
