Cafe Memory

Heejin's POV

Water splashed softly as I walked towards the mall. A day to treat myself. I scoffed at that. There was only one treat I was waiting for, and that of course was my own termination. I only came here because I needed a new sweater and had groceries to buy.

I had my dinner at a cafe. It was one I treasured and one of the few things I still loved in this world. I had bittersweet feelings being in here.

"Appa!" A little girl shouted as she ran around skipping. "Nae?!" A man said from somewhere around the cafe. "Where are you? I want to go get my beanie already?" The 10 year old screamed while looking around. "Nae, Heejin~ah just give me one second." The man said coming out of the kitchen. He was tying his coat with a scarf in his hand.

"Aish appa you take too long you know that." The girl whines and the man smiles "Mianhe Heejin~shi. Let's go get your beanie now alright." He says with a wide smile "Nae!" She shouts cutely. They hold each other's hand and leave the cafe.

I drank the rest of my coffee and left knowing that if another one of my memories play I might start sobbing.
