A Pain We Share
Heejin's POV
"Why are some of the most successful people in the world here?" I repeat and they look at each other. "We're here for you Heejin~ah. Before anything else we are still family." Yoongi says with compassion. "Are you really doing alright here?" Seokjin adds.
"No." I sigh "Oppa. I'm doing fine here yes. I have a stable job. I have food and an apartment. I'm alright." I continue. "But have you been... happier?" Seokjin says and I shake my head "I try. But I'm sure you could see through my smile." I say and they nod sadly.
"For people who knew me well and long. I'm sure you'd notice. But it's fine. I'm just waiting." I add but they both frown. "Heejin~ah are you really just going to wait for death to come?" The one with plump lips says "And without being happy first." The one with cat like features adds.
"I can't. It's too hard. I want to, I really do. But at some point it's just to difficult. I tried being happy, tried handling the company. But... I really couldn't handle it. The last thing I want is my family's hard work to go to waste. Please stop oppas. I- I really think it's for the best I don't go back. If one thing makes me happy. It's that Joon&Jin Corps is with trusted people."
They really had such pained expressions. I didn't know its because even they miss their best friend or because they feel pained to see me like this. Maybe it's both.
"Heejin. We'll stop. But please don't forget that we are always here for you no matter what happens." The eldest says with a face of sincerity.
"We want you to be happy, even when we ourselves aren't and even when we ourselves don't know how we can help you get happiness back." Yoongi adds.
"Thank you both. I'm sorry I'm not here for you. But if ever you need me, you can always call or even come here." I say with a sad smile.
We all had this understanding with one another. We understood the pain of losing the people we love. I wasn't the only one who lost family. The oldest lost his beloved sister and the kitten lost his mate.
