A New Job
Heejin's POV
First day at work. Yahay! I guess. I entered the cafe and saw the one who interviewed me.
"Annyeong Heejin~shi." He said with a big smile and I bowed "Annyeonghaseyo." I reply and give him a small smile.
I entered the kitchen and put on my uniform. I sighed "He's going to bug me all day." I say and exit the changing room.
Thoughout the morning I learned the ropes and got used to the tools in the cafe. I had been practicing for a few days the coffee, chocolate, and whatever recipe they gave me. It was a piece of cake so now all I had to do was know where the ingredients and tools are.
It's now lunch time and I sat in a booth. The sound of cars passing by not so loud yet not too soft. It was actually quite relaxing. I listened and watched as the cars sped away to wherever they were going.
"Heejin~ah." Someone called and I saw Mr. Kang infront of me. "Waeyo?" I asked and he smiled softly. "A penny for your thoughts?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Not today Mr. Kang." I said and his soft smile turned into a sad one. "Alright. Tell me when you are ready." He said taking his leave.
Opening up was always hard. Especially for me.
