Convenience Store
Heejin's POV
"Aish it's getting colder." I mumble while placing my hands deeper into the pockets of my coat.
It was snowing again, December had come quickly. I was too distracted with learning new recipes that I couldn't feel the days bolt past me. I also didn't notice that my ingredients were running out. The mall already closed since it was about 11:37 in the evening. So here I was walking to the convenience store, shaking despite my thick clothes.
The sound of a bell lightly ringing sounded as I entered the small building. "Annyeonghaseyo." I greeted the lady at the counter and she greeted me back. I picked up the basket and decided to start from the back of the store.
"Wah there are so many supplies here." I say softly as I fill up my basket. "Thank you." I say with a bow to the lady after paying "Stay safe." She says and I nod with a smile.
I checked my clock to see it was already 23:59 and headed to the door. Before I reached the exit someone opens it ahead of me. He enters and sees me leaving. Nothing is said between us two but the man opens the door for me and I bow my head in a thanks before leaving.
00:00 it read on both their clocks as they moved past one another.
