A New Friend
Heejin's POV
I've been alone, well not really I had Mr. Kang and he's been with me for a few years. Yeah years not months. I met when I was a teen. A story for another time though.
Other than ahjusshi there really has been no one else these past 2 years.
"What time does your lunch break start?" The man asks again and I sigh. "Sorry but why would I have lunch with you." I ask crossing my arms. "Is there something wrong with having lunch with you?" He shoots back crossing his arms too.
We have a staring contest for a few seconds before I give up. "Alright fine. I get off in a few minutes." I say and print his receipt. "Thank you." He says in a cheery tone while taking the piece of paper. "This guy." I sigh and turn to the kitchen.
"Here you go." I say while placing the tray down. "Thanks. Now sit." He says and I sit down with my arms crossed. "What?" He asked with food in his mouth.
"I'm having lunch with a total stranger. Of course I'd like to know why." I say pointing out the obvious.
"Alright first, we aren't total strangers. We've meet a couple of times right." He says wiping his mouth with a tissue while breath out a sigh.
"Ya. We only bumped into each other. Never really had a conversation. I don't even know your name." I say and he takes the chopsticks out of his mouth. "First I just want to get to know you. Nothing wrong with making a new friend."
"Ah so we're friends now." I say and he shrugs "For me yes." He says and picks up another rice cake. "Well it's a no for me." I say. "Hmm alright. Anyways. Secondly I'm Jimin. Park Jimin."
