Ming heard a click at the door, and her front door opened up a creak. She turned, glancing at Eva running towards her. She opened up her arms, wrapping them around Eva in an embrace. "Ooh, hi," Ming giggled, hugging Eva tightly.
She glanced up at José who was at the entrance of her apartment. She put her hand up in wave, receiving a solemn nod from him, before he disappeared.
Breaking from the embrace, Eva looked up at Ming. Softly, she mumbled, "It's been awhile since I've came over here." Ming gave a small laugh, "You shouldn't be here, it's dangerous."
"Are you dangerous?" Eva asked teasingly, raising her eyebrow.
Ming laughed again, "Maybe."
Eva rolled her eyes and brushed past Ming to take a seat on Ming's bed. As she placed both of her hands behind her for support, she touched something soft and turned around. On the bed laid Ming's coat, and for the first time since she stepped in here, did she notice that Ming wasn't wearing her coat.
She looked up at Ming, her eyes travelling up and down Ming's body, scanning her outfit. Ming donned on a tight black shirt and the same coloured jeans. And because of her shirt, her upper body was amplified well, her biceps and ab muscles bulging through the thin fabric of her shirt. Now Eva's eyes were running across Ming's tattooed arm.
Ming noticed that she had an audience, as a result, she walked forward slowly, until she was right in front of Eva. She brought her hand forward to cup Eva's face, stroking her thumb on Eva's gentle skin.
"I've never seen you without your coat before," Eva pointed out, earning a nod from Ming. "Mhm, I don't wear it at home."
Biting her lip softly, Eva whispered, "You look better without your coat. Your body is...amazing."
Ming chuckled, taking a seat beside Eva. She rubbed her arms, pointing to a tattoo on her left bicep. "This is my gang tattoo, I got it when I was six, after my father's death," Ming related. Eva reached over, her fingers drawing the outline of the tattoo.
"You let them pierce a tattoo gun into you at six years old?"
"Yes, I did," Ming replied, trying not to think about the hair standing up on her skin as Eva's fingers ran down her arm. "Badass since the womb huh?" Eva mumbled teasingly, and Ming sniggered at her joke.
Eva's fingers had reached Ming right arm now, and slowing inching forward to her hand, and once Eva reached Ming's hand, Eva intertwined her fingers with hers. While Ming was distracted looking at Eva's hand holding hers, she almost didn't hear Eva asking, "How's your wound?"
"Huh?" Ming snapped herself back into reality, before sheepishly answering, "Oh, uh, it's better, I've been shot before, another one wouldn't hurt me."
Eva's forehead creased into a frown, "Where have you been shot before?" Ming lifted up her shirt to point to the scars on her back. "You've been shot five times," Eva counted, looking up into Ming's eyes. Ming nodded, letting her shirt fall back down.
Eva was actually shocked to see so many wounds on Ming, so she blurted, "But I thought you're their leader, how does a leader get shot so many times?"
Earning a laugh from Ming, Ming explained, "Well, it's exactly because I'm the gang leader, that I get shot. Many gangs out there want to take over Bermuda, and they know I am the last heir. I have no children to pass the gang to."
"I wouldn't be able to..." Eva said under her breath, and Ming almost didn't hear it.
But she did, and she immediately wrapped her arms around Eva and pulled Eva close to her. Ming kissed Eva's forehead, stroking Eva's back to comfort her, "Baby, shh. Don't talk about that yet."
