Maximus glanced up from his laptop at the sound of someone entering the conference room. "Yo Ming!" He called to her, waving Ming to his side. Ming strode over, bending over Max's shoulder to look at the contents on his laptop.
"You found something?" Ming asked, squinting at the screen. On the screen, the pictures taken of Ming with her gun was flashed, and at the bottom left of the screen, there was an zoomed in and enhanced part of the picture.
Maximus nodded, pointing to the bottom left of the screen as he related, "There seems to be a watermark in the picture. Whoever printed these photos out must have used a company's printer. We are currently matching the logo of the company through Google."
Ming looked up at Taylor, who was handling the task. He held up two fingers and remarked, "Almost there. Do not rush me."
A beep was heard from Taylor's laptop, and Ming rushed over to scan the results. "Barns Enterprises," Taylor read aloud to the room. "Why would Barns Enterprises have anything to do with us?" Maximus asked, looking at Ming.
A frown creased on Ming's forehead. Christian Barns, again!
"You are right, Barns Enterprises has nothing to do with us. Except for one person related. Christian Barns. He has attempted to screw around with Evangelia, and I have taught him a lesson, but obviously it didn't get into his head," Ming explained.
José cleared his throat, "I'm afraid a death threat was not enough for him."
Maximus nodded his head, deep in thought. He was thinking of the best way to approach this situation, and give Ming the right advice on how to advance. After all, he is her advisor.
But Ming interrupted his thoughts as she announced, "I want to call for a meeting. This man has gone too far, and I will not deal with his bullshit any further." She looked at her secretary, Linda, and informed her, "Linda, I want a meeting in five minutes. Gather everyone."
"Yes Ma'am."
Linda hurried in typing out an urgent message to everyone in the gang, while Maximus, Taylor and José got the room ready for the meeting. Ming pinched her nose bridge, deep in thought, knowing that she would have to carry operations out carefully.
As the conference room filled up with members of the gang, Ming took her seat at the end of the table, while her gang filled up the seats down the rows on either side of her. When the room quietened down, Ming took a drink of her beer before she spoke:
"Bermuda, I have gathered us here today for a very serious meeting. Someone has done a very horrible mistake of trying to fuck with us, by taking photos of our deal in Massachusetts. They have also gathered a file on me, and with no doubt, I am certain they have files of each of us as well."
Ming motioned for Maximus to flash a picture on the projector screen, and she pointed to it, announcing, "This logo belongs to Barns Enterprises. They are the biggest business chain in New York, and although previously we had nothing to do with them, they have now become our target."
"Barns Enterprises belongs to a man named Francis Barns," Ming said, standing up from her seat and walking to the projector, where a picture of Francis Barns was projected. "His son," she continued, "Christian Barns, is the one we are going to worry about."
"A week ago, Christian Barns had decided he should pick on Evangelia Langston to be the next woman that he beds. As most of you might have heard, Evangelia Langston is my partner in a romantic relationship."
"I let Christian Barns off with a gentle warning the first time he tried something funny with Evangelia. But just a few days ago, he decided to mess with me again, and abducted Evangelia to a shower room in our school in attempts to rape her. I trust that I have humiliated him by making him get down on his knees and beg for forgiveness, which explains why he has gone this far to spy on me."
