Unlatching her window, Eva began to climb out of her window, her feet landing on the steps of the ladder she placed right outside her window before she went to bed at night. She carefully slithered down the ladder, leaping onto the soft grass below.

Eva moved the ladder away from her window, just in case some burglar climbed up the ladder and through her open window. Eva hugged Ming's coat, and pulled the leather tighter around her body, and started to make her way towards Trest Fort neighborhood.

She drew up the hood of Ming's coat, and stuck her hands into the pockets, taking a deep breath as she turned into the dark alleys. It was around 7am now, and the sun was rising, so Eva knew she wouldn't run into much danger at this time.

Turning into the corridor where Ming's apartment was, Eva caught a glimpse of uniforms stationed there. Shit, she cursed, spinning around to make her way out. She crashed into someone, and her heart stopped for a second when her eyes scanned the gun that was pointed in front of her face.

"Hands in the air," the cop commanded Eva, and she obeyed. With trembling hands, Eva put her hands up in surrender before the cop threw out another order, "Now slowly, pull back your hood."

Eva reached up, drawing her hood back. The cop took in her face, now in the light and scrunched up his face at the sight of Eva. "It's not her," he informed his team. Looking back at Eva, he sternly barked, "Where is she?"

"Where is who?" Eva replied, feigning innocence.

The cop snarled, "Do not lie to me. That coat belongs to the 'Killer of Good', who also happens to be a mafia boss. You must have a connection with her, so tell us, where is she?"

Eva puffed out her chest and lied, "I don't know what you're talking about. This coat belongs to me, strange it looks exactly the same as the 'Killer of Good's'. I was told to put this on when I was walking through Trest Fort. I have errands to run."

A female cop stepped forward and piped up, "Either way, we're taking you and your coat back to the station. If you are as innocent as you seem, then follow us back. If you resist, we'll mark it down as resisting arrest."

"Fine, those errands can wait anyway," Eva remarked.

She followed the two police officers and got into the police car, sighing a deep sigh, feeling her heart sink down to her stomach. She missed Ming terribly and she had sent numerous texts to Ming's phone, but Ming did not reply her.

As the car teared away from Trest Fort, Eva caught a glimpse of a dark figure moving out of the shadows, and a pair of sharp grey eyes watched her being taken away to the police station.

"Maximus!" Ming yelled, crashing into his office. Maximus glanced up from his phone call, alarmed at Ming's sudden presence. "I'd call you back mate," Maximus told the client, and hung up on his call.

"Yes Ming? What can I do for you?" Max asked, standing up from his chair. Ming walked over to his cabinet, where he stored liquor in, and poured herself a large glass of beer. Gulping down the contents in a shocking rate, Ming moved to refill her glass.

Swallowing two gulps of her beer, she looked up at Max's stunned expression. Ming cleared her throat and announced sheepishly, "Sorry about the beer. Police showed up at my apartment and I didn't even have time to grab my stuff."

Max nodded and said, "No problem love, are you alright?"

"Well, I am fine. But Evangelia is not. She came to my apartment to look for me, and got taken back to the police station by cops. What should we do now?" Ming asked.
