Hugging Ming close to her, Eva breathed in a familiar, comforting scent. She had grown to love Ming's scent, and she was clearly obsessed seeing how she'd hold Ming's coat tightly around her body every night when she slept.
Eva reluctantly let go of Ming, looking up into Ming's grey irises and caught Ming smiling down at her. She beamed at Ming, accepting Ming's kiss, soft, gentle and loving on her lips. She sighed, receiving a chuckle from Ming.
"Baby, I'm only gone two days. Shorter than the last trip," Ming reminded.
"I know, I know," Eva breathed out, "I'm just... I'm just gonna miss you a lot."
Ming's smile stretched into a huge Cheshire grin, leaning forward to plant another kiss on her girlfriend's lips, she wrapped her arms around Eva and picked Eva's small frame up, spinning them around and around.
Eva let out a loud giggle, and Ming too, laughed out heartily. Eva gripped on Ming's arms to support herself, her head dizzy from the spinning. She smiled up at Ming, looking at Maximus and called out to him, "You keep Ming safe!"
Maximus stepped forward and gave a formal bow. "Yes, Miss Langston. I will keep Ming safe," he said gruffly, looking up into Eva's eyes with a playful glint in his eyes.
Finally breaking away from Ming, Eva held onto Ming's hand as Ming led her towards the jet. Ming gave Eva a tour of the jet, showed her that the pilot was 100% certified to fly, and that there were plenty of food and drink. Lastly, Ming showed Eva her bed on the jet.
"Woah!" Eva exclaimed as she bounced onto the bed, "This is lovely, the bed is so soft."
Ming chuckled, taking a seat on the bed too. She grabbed Eva's hands in hers, whispering softly, "One day, we will be flying together, be it business or just because we have the urge to travel. I promise."
Eva was grinning from ear to ear, uttering, "Since you promised, you better keep it." "I never go back on my word," Ming said firmly.
It was time for Ming to depart from New York. She handed Eva over to José after one final hug, waving goodbye to the both of them as she boarded the jet. She wasn't at all worried that Eva would get into any sort of danger, because José was a good man and will protect Eva at all costs.
During the ten hour flight to Egypt, Ming found herself happily chatting away with Maximus, Taylor and Tyler. It nearly seemed as if Ming and the three men were great buddies, and were really close to one another.
It wasn't the case, and Ming knew it. She rarely stepped into the gang, and rarely talked to any of them when she came back for business. She knew Tyler loved her like she was his own daughter, Maximus was her childhood best friend and had her back, and Taylor was loyal to her because he was her mother's personal bodyguard when she was alive.
But Ming didn't want to dwell on it, she merely wanted to enjoy this time spent talking to all three men. She knew if she were to marry Eva into Bermuda, she'd have to make sure all of her men were accepting of it, and would pledge loyalty to Evangelia.
This is how it mostly went in the Bermuda. The gang didn't mind having its own members marrying or dating outsiders, but all members of the gang had to be accepting towards the outsider, and if it was the leader who chose to marry one, all members had to pledge loyalty to protect the leader's partner.
Ming smiled, thinking this was the time to gain acceptance from her men towards Eva, so she shyly spoke, "Um, so I'm dating Evangelia Langston."
Tyler looked at her, frowning, "We know that. Both of you aren't exactly discreet when it comes to kissing." Taylor sniggered, Maximus joining in.
