Chapter 27

Zayn’s POV

“Calm down El.” I whispered to her, while I cradled her in my arms.  

“How am I supposed to calm down, when the only other person I loved in my life left me!” She yelled, still crying.

“I know babe.” I held her close. I could feel everyone in the kitchen staring at us. But, I didn’t care.  Ella needed someone with her that knew about her past, and I seem to be the only one.  

“He El?”

“Hm?” She asked as she tried to calm down.

“Skip school tomorrow.” 

“I can’t.”

“You can.”

“Liam won’t let me. You know that.”

“But, what if he doesn’t know?” This got her attention and she looked up at me.

“What do you mean?” She asked as I wiped her tears off of her cheek.

“Well I will just drive you to school, but we won’t go to school.” I said grinning at her.

“That’s brilliant!” She said smiling.  

“That’s the smile I want to see.” I said kissing her forehead.

“Why don’t you go to bed love? We have a long day ahead of us.” I said winking.

“Will you sleep with me?” She asked. I looked at her confused.  “I have nightmares about him.” She whispered quietly.

“I’ll meet you in there” I told her. She shook her head and headed towards her room.  

I turned around and everyone was staring. Like I thought.  Liam was the first to speak up,

“Is she okay?” 

“Yeah, she will be.”

“What do you know that we don’t?” Liam asked. Shit. What am I supposed to say?

“Nothing really.  Just her and I have became close over the last few days.” I tried not to sound like I made that up on the spot.

“Yeah okay.” Liam said walking back to his room. I turned to see Louis with the phone and Niall looking at me suspiciously.

“I don’t know what you know, but it seems to work every time.” He said and turned back into the kitchen.  I looked over at Louis. He slammed his phone down.  

“Fuck!” He yelled.

“What?”

“He wont answer any of us. God damn! What the fuck did we do wrong!” H yelled storming back out to the pool. I got up and walked back to Ella’s room. She wasn’t in there. Hmm, she must me in the bathroom.  I walked to my room shut the door and began to strip.  I turned around only in boxers to see Ella fast asleep in my bed.  I looked down and realized if we were gonna sleep in the same bed I need to put some clothes on.  I rummaged through the drawers and found a pair of pajama pants and slipped them on.  I climbed in bed with Ella and pulled her in close.  She turned and put her head in my chest.  I played with her hair till I fell asleep.

Ella’s POV

“Please not again T!” I yelled tears streaming down my face.

“Ella.  Why do you care about who I date!?” He yelled

“Because, because I do!”
