Chapter Twenty Five

Niall's POV

Gasping I bolted upright, my arm unwrapping from around Alex. The image replayed in my head.

"Niall?" A cautious voice spoke from beside me.

I felt her legs slowly get up and sit on top of mine. She placed her hands on my chest as she spoke quickly.

"You saw it too." Her eyes wide and worried. "Niall?"

"Wh-what do you mean?" My words stumbled out.

"You saw her die, didn't you?" Her words spilling out, still rushed.

"Who?" I asked still trying to figure out what was happening.

"Madd--"

"No!" I cut her off before she could finish. How could we have seen the same thing?

My breathing becoming rapid as I went to remove her hands with mine. As our hands connected the image or Madeline Claire dead on the concrete outside a large building, blood stained across her shirt and down her lips, broke into my mind. I jumped away from her hitting the frame of the bed with my back.

"What was that?" I asked, my eyes wide.

"I don't know. I've been having nightmares lately about the same thing over and over again. About her. In some of them she's dying and in others she's drinking people's blood." She said with her head down as she fiddled with her hands.

"How long has this been happening?" I asked cautiously.

"Ever since Maddy almost died." She said thinking.

"Alex...Maddy did die." I confessed as I brought my eyes upon her.

She looked at me frowning, "that doesn't make any sense. Maddy's perfectly fine. What are you talking about?" Her words hinting towards an angry tone.

"She died. Her heart stopped and she died. You brought her back." I explained. "Because your ancestors blood was used to create an immortal species with magic her descendants started to gain abilities. They haven't all been uncovered and we don't know what extents these abilities have but the most common power is bringing usually loved ones back to life soon after death.

" I didn't realise that you were the entity and that's why I was so confused after Maddy was suddenly alive." I said still slightly confused.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she took it all in. Her mouth parted a little as she drew sharp breaths of air.

"But why now? Why couldn't I do any of this before?" She asked softly.

"I'm not sure." I answered. "But now that you can, I believe that you will gain a lot more abilities. Its very promanant in you, I could practically taste the power in your blood." I said as the taste of her blood found its way into my head. The power, so incredible. I've been craving her blood more and more since I tried it.

"I could've saved my mum and my sister, but I didn't know, you," she said as she looked up at me, anger rising in her eyes. "didn't know. If you had just figured it out sooner, my family wouldn't be dead. This is all YOUR fault. In fact if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be in this mess to begin with. I would be sitting at home with my parents and sister talking about something as boring as the weather. I wouldn't have to be dealing with VAMPIRES and all of this bull crap! But instead I was kidnapped, almost raped, watched my family die, tortured, and now I'm part of some hoo hah magic spell that will inevitably get me killed. And who do I have to thank for all of this? YOU, YOU AND YOUR BUNCH OF FRIGEN VAMPIRES WHO EITHER WANT TO KILL ME OR ARE GOING TO GET ME KILLED!!!" She screamed in my face before leaping off the bed and out the door slamming it behind her.

"Wait! Alex!" I yelled after her as I got up and ran after her.

I raced down the stairs about to grab her arm before she opened the front door of the house when I collapsed to my knees clutching my stomach. Groaning in pain I could here his voice from in front of me.

"Where do you think you're going love?" He said before the door slammed close.

I could hear Alex's whimpers as I looked up.

"Harr--" I was cut off when I felt something sharp pierce through my back grazing my heart. "Ahhhhh!" I screamed in agony.

"That's for snapping my neck." A female voice spoke as she yanked the blade back out.

I groaned and gritted my teeth as I looked up at her. Her blonde hair flowing down to her waist. She was standing next to a smirking Harry.

"Abby?" I questioned. "But I killed you."
