The Search

They grab her and take off with her before I can get to her. My wolf kicks in and I shift to try and catch up to them. Rage rips through me as I smell blood. Her blood. I run as hard as I can through the streets but I don't see them. My heart sinks when I see a piece of Zarola's hair on the ground. I howl into the night for my pack. I feel tears stinging in the back of my eyes. I lost my mate...

I wake up in a chair with my hands a feet tied to it. I feel a pain in my shoulder and head. Images of Stark shifting and hands grabbing me come back. I feel someone approaching me. It's a wolf and vampire.. They are very powerful too. I let my senses tell me that there is also the rogue wolf that is the leader is here also with his so called "pack". The powerful wolf is coming towards me. I look to my side and see him walking around to stop right in front of me. He looks so familiar to me but from where ? He is looking at me up and down like he knows me already. I keep an emotionless face.

"Never thought you would grow up to be such a renowned hunter...he did say you would be a troublesome one." he says putting a finger under my chin so I look him in the eyes. He has bright yellow eyes. When I look into them my head starts to hurt and I feel fear grip my heart. I don't like his eyes and I don't feel safe around him...but why? I feel the presence of a vampire and he comes around the other side of me.

"I don't think she remember us. You did some great handy work here." says the wolf drawing back to stand side by side with the vampire. His red eyes look at me and I feel the same way with him as I did the wolf. Who the hell are these people? Why do I feel fear around them. The vampire smirks at me and leans close to my face.

"Maybe we should tell her...just exactly why she feels fear around us but...i don't think we should she will know soon enough when my work lifts soon." he says turning to the Wolf. The wolf smiles and walks away.

"She looks a lot different from when we saw her back then don't you agree Dex." the name sounds so damn familiar to me but why! Dex nods in agreement and follows the wolf.

"Yes Lucian she does...she looks like an exact image of her parents." he his laughing fading into the darkness. I feel and overwhelming sadness hit me as my memories of that night come back to me. Lucian and Dex were the one who had kill mom and dad back then.

We are at Zarola's house with a depressed Zehira and my pack surrounding the house. When I told Zehira what had happened her legs buckled Beneath her and Jack had to catch her before she fell. Raveena looks stunned and Ajax is helping me talk to the pack about what has happened. However we don't tell them who Zehira or Zarola are just that Zarola is my mate and Zehira is my mates sister.

"Stark what are we gonna do we don't really have a lead to go on here." says Ajax and I know he is right but I am determined to find my mate.

"Get a search party together and I also want a few of our best guarding Zehira just in case they come here." I say nodding to Ajax and return to the living room to a quite Zehira and Raveena talking to Jack.

"Jack go with them to help okay I'll watch her." I say to Jack and he nods and gets up. Raveena looks up at me with confidence in her eyes. She knows I will stop at nothing to find my mate. Raveena goes with me over to Zehira. She is staring at her necklace. Raveena touches her shoulder and Zehira looks up at us with tears in her eyes.

"Why....why would they take her out of all things." she says choking on her words a little. Raveena rubs her back to sooth her.

"We know. we are asking the same thing also ZE...But we needs your help. You are the best hunter at finding evidence and people are you not?" I say to her and she looks up at me and nods. She gets up to head up stairs and we follow her. She heads into the room that is directly across from Zarola's rooms. As we enter there are computers and papers everywhere. Zehira gets behind the computers and begins her work.

"I need to know everything Stark or I won't be able to do much also take this with you when you go out to look so I can keep up with the Information you collect while out there." she says handing me and ear bud. I put it into my ear as I retell everything that had happened. she types furiously as she nods at what I'm telling her. It's like I'm seeing a different side of her. More serious and deadly, just like how Zarola would be. She waves for me and Raveena to leave as she does her work putting her hair up into a bun. We leave the room and head downstairs.

"Stark are you okay?" Raveena asks. I feel drained and edgy. Having Zarola not near me is like not having a piece of me. It's a weird feeling and new to me.

"i'll be okay I just wanna find her Raven." I say walking towards the front door.

God this room is dark! Having a light only ontop of me throws my night seeing off. I can't see shit. No one has come to visit me sense Dex and Lucian came to visit me. My heart churns Every time there names comes to mind and my vision of the nightmarish night come back. I need to let that shit go so it doesn't affect me. I need to find a way out of this place and back to my sister. I have been messing around with the bounds on my wrist and they really knew who they were dealing with. However i am confident i can still get them off even though they are really tight. I forgot to put a knife on me today because i didn't think i was going to have to deal with being kidnapped or attacked. So much for a day off. Why are Dex and Lucian here? Are they working with Arsen....if so why did they kidnap me. God u need to get out of this hell hole before I go insane! I hear footsteps and strain to see who is coming but I'm so tightly bound I can't move much. A wolf comes into view and has shackles in his hands. I stare at them then look back at him.

"Orders are to bring you up to the masters." he says while another wolf comes next to him. They are both rouges.. One restrains me while the other is putting the shackles on. I feel the metal bite into my skin when they tug on the chains for me to move. We head up some steep stairs to another large room. It has three doors and one leads what looks like to be outside the other two I'm not sure. We head to one of the other two doors and I see Arsen is standing next to it talking to someone. He looks up when he sees me and grins. I wish I could kill him I would because he is the reason I have a new scar.

"Well if it isn't Sniper. You look good with chains on you." he says smiling. 'Come closer and I would gladly love to wipe that grin off your face'. I think to myself but I don't think my words are appropriate for my situation right now.

"I never thought I would see you breathing again." I say under my breath. He must have heard because he gives me a hard look as I head through the doors. There is another chair and two people are standing next to it. Hy heart clenches as I see who will be interrogating me. Dex and Lucian.
