Chapter 15: Alone Together

July Week 4

Bri and I were enjoying our third date night in at my place tonight. We had the house to ourselves, meanwhile, Luís had his own date night with Gina planned. Carlito, Cat, Mike, and Marcellus went out to a bar together. Something they all loved to do occasionally. Mike was kind of okay with letting us stay alone, but I'm not sure about Carlito. He can be a hot head at times, especially when it comes to Bri. I know it's only for a few hours, but they definitely don't trust two teenagers home alone together. I tried to distract my thoughts from that since I just want to enjoy my night with my girlfriend. It feels so good to call her that. Anyway, her and I relaxed on the couch surrounded by comfy pillows, a blanket draped over us. She looked pretty hot tonight, in one of my old LA dodgers tanks and her black Nike pro shorts. We decided on the new Netflix horror movie that Sean told me about, a few days back at practice. As we settled in, I couldn't help but notice that I was feeling different when Bri moved closer. I tried to ignore it as we got comfortable, I didn't want to be awkward. I pressed play on the remote, then wrapped an arm around her waist, letting her head rest on my shoulder.
As the movie continued, I noticed Bri getting scared, so I pulled her into my lap. I felt her body tense, then relax into me. I went with my gut and pulled her in a bit tighter. I felt her body tense up again. I assumed the scenes in the movie were getting to her, but she seemed more nervous than fearful. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so we stayed that way for the rest of the movie. We decided to keep the marathon going and put on the sequel to our first movie. Our cuddles continued as we relaxed, enjoying our much needed privacy. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't shake that feeling from earlier. It was giving me courage I never had before. I allowed my hands to slowly explore Bri's body. One gently caressing her leg while the other is wrapped around her waist, inching up her back, until I felt the clasp of her bra. She took a deep breath, My stare shifted from her body, to her face, her eyes following my hand's every move. I paused a moment, looking into her eyes..

"Are you okay with this? We can stop, if you don't want to" I asked in a comforting tone.

"We can keep going..." Bri whispered then slowly lifted the blanket, adjusting herself to straddle my lap facing me. I was pleasantly surprised.

My gaze followed her entire movement, she adjusted herself in my lap and let her hands wander for a bit. Shyly, feeling my shoulders and biceps. Making her way down to my hands, gently placing them on her waist. I slowly let brought my lips to hers, while I gently pulled her close. Her hands still exploring me slowly, gently rubbing my chest, then squeezing my biceps on occasion. My tongue slowly searching for hers, when I noticed a little trembling in her bottom lip. I didn't want to take it too far, so I paused:

"Sorry..." Bri whispered nervously.

"Don't be. You know there's nothing to be nervous about, right?" I asked still holding her close, gently caressing her back.

"I know, I just don't want to do it wrong" her cheeks turned red as she looked away.

"Do what wrong? Kissing?" I asked in a light hearted tone, but still giving her my full attention. A smile spreading across my face.

"Yeah.. I mean, you've had a girlfriend before. I'm not as experienced as you are with this." She shrugged her shoulders as her face saddened.

"Aw, Bri... Listen, I'm not as experienced as you think. This is still new for me too" My expression turned more serious as I attempted to comfort her.

"Still more experienced than I am.." she whispered, I heard the sadness in her voice.

"Wait... Does that mean I'm the first guy you've been with?" I was blunt, trying not to show my excitement for being her first kiss.
