   Time: sometime after school
Jay walks in his empty home and places his keys on a little holder before taking off his shoes. He then flops on the couch and lets out a sigh. He turns on the tv and stays in the comfortable position for a while "today was ....interesting.. " he thinks about the two people he had made acquaintance with. He couldn't help but smile at the jokes that T and V had made earlier. After a few seconds he gets up and groans, "I should probably eat." He looks in his pantry and finds the last bag of Reman. Jay loved cooking and he was used to making something as simple as Reman turn into something delicious, he grabbed some extra ingredients and began cooking. He places the hot bowl on the counter and began eating, while watching tv. He is then painfully reminded of his older brother. Jay hated being home alone ever since his brother passed away, it just felt too....quiet. He was slowly getting used to it but he didn't want to. Before, Jay loved being alone in fact, he preferred it. When his brother would come into his room just to annoy him he would urge him to leave but now, he regrates every single "leave me alone," he has ever said. His phone dings grabbing his attention.
"Hi, guys it's T! I just created a group chat so it would be easier to talk."
Jay chokes on his food, they did exchange numbers but he didn't think they would use it.
"Sounds good" v replies
"Okay," he quickly typed out.
Jay's phone dings again and he swiftly checks it, he lets out a sigh.
"Hey son, me and your mother are excited to hear about your first day. We have bad service here so we couldn't call"
"Hey, dad it was cool...I made some frien-" he began to type out but was hesitant to send
"Hey dad it was cool" he sends it but doesn't expect a reply for another day. After his brother's death, his parents couldn't take the pain and he grew away from them. It didn't help that Jay looked just like him, so they never came around to see him. They never would admit it but Jay knew, after finding out about the accident his mother didn't look him in the eyes. Jay could understand them, but after his brother's death, he would have given anything to have not been left alone.

"You did what?" Jay says with a shaky voice
"We got you an apartment close to the school, it will be great for you"
"Great for us" his mom interrupts unable to look him in the face.
"B-but I want to stay here with you! I don't want to be alone I-I can't, when I'm alone it's like he's still there and when I turn around to hug him he's gon-"
"Enough" his mom yells
"E-enough... I-I just plz this is what you wanted remember? To live on your own so go...w-we will call you every day."

That was Jay's last in-person conversation with his mother. Every time he thought about it he wanted to cry but just couldn't. He turned up the tv. "it's too quiet in here, " he sighs.
