Not an update!
Sorry, it's been a while since I've updated I've been struggling with my mental health. I just wanted to address some things. Jean sounds like the stereotypical black woman because she is based on my mother, who is from Michigan. This is actually how she speaks. Her character does not feed into the negative stereotype of older black women because it is based on my own experiences. I only used sayings that I have heard from her. No one has commented about this but I thought I should make that clear just in case someone got the ick from the way she or Tiana spoke. Lastly, these stories are based on my life (somewhat) all these characters share some of the same traumas as me, which means as you can imagine, my mental health is always fluctuating. I am mentioning this because I feel really bad for not updating but this story may take some dark turns please be prepared. And if you are also struggling please reach out to someone, anyone. It does not make you weak, you are stronger than the trauma that you face. Love you very much <3.
