Kelly had left around an hour ago, and I was sat in the car with Jay.

"I'm sorry that he ruined Amelia's room, and I promise I'm going to catch him." Jay says and I smile.

"Thank you. I didn't realise he was this crazy." I whisper.

"I'm not going to let him touch you, you don't have to worry." Jay tells me.

"I just want all this drama in my life to be over, ya know? I didn't think it could get any worse."

Jay pulls the car up outside his apartment.

"Well, we're here." He says and we climb out of his truck.

I climb out, my bags filled with my salvageable belongings.

Jay takes them from me, and carries them up into his apartment.

"This is it." He says as he unlocks the door, allowing me to enter.

It was a modern apartment, with floor to ceiling windows, looking out at the city.

"Quite the bachelor's pad you have here." I say and Jay smiled.

"Yeah, it's not bad is it?" He says.

"Thank you, for having me. I'm starting to think that maybe I should sell the house and start fresh, my own little place."

"It's no trouble, and you've got to do what's best for you. Don't let anyone shape your future." He says and I smile.

"You were in the army weren't you?" I ask him and he nods.

"My brother is, or was. I'm not sure anymore." I tell him.

"You have a brother?"

"Yeah, we're twins. He left for the army when we were sixteen, last I heard he was at Camp Bastien."

"He never really bothered once he left so I don't know what he does, or if he's still alive." I add.

"Anyway, I need some sleep. What time is it?" I ask Jay.

He glanced at his watch. "Three twenty four."

"I'm definetly having a lie in." I say.

"Goodnight Jay."

"Night Len. Shout if you need anything."

"I will, thanks again Jay." I say before making my way to the spare bedroom.

Jay was always so kind to me and I'm lucky to have him as a friend.

I close the door behind me and sit on the bed for a while.

This is what my life has come to, everything good thing is ruined, there's so much disaster in my life, and I'm afraid I'm going to ruin other's lives because mine is so unpredictable.

Monday was like any other, apart from I had a stalker, I was living with Jay and my life had gone down a crazy, disastrous route.

"If you need anything just call me." Jay says and I nod as I climb out of his truck.

"You know I'm more than capable of driving myself to work." I tell him though the window.

"Whilst your stalker is still at large? Do you think it's safe to leave your car hanging around all day? He could put a tracker on it. This is the safest thing Len." He says.

"Okay dad." I reply, a smirk on my face.

"I'm serious Len." He says, and I lean in and grab my cup of coffee.
