Katya's POV
"Is this hostage allowed to speak?"

"Are you trying to be funny?" I swished some water through my mouth. I held onto the counter tightly as I watched my reflection. I look pale. My head is spinning.

"Hardly. You have to go to a doctor. You don't look so good." He noted the obvious. I have been throwing up all morning. This pregnancy is extremely different from Terr's. The only reason I even noticed I was pregnant with him was a missed period. It was a fairly smooth sail with him till he was born. He was an awesome kid to carry. This one is hellish. It's like we are at war with each other. "Did you tell dad?"

"Hostages get their mouths taped." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Seriously? Do you think you can take me on when you can't even stand straight?" He chuckled.

I tried to straighten my form but I swayed a little. I'm light headed. "What's for breakfast?"

"It's a motel. There's no room service. I'm willing to go out and find something to eat." He volunteered.

"Hands." I waved a pair of hand cuffs.

"You can't be serious!"

"I know the moment I walk out of that door, you'll run back to Alexei! Hands!"

"Left or right?" He asked. "Assuming you're cuffing me to something, right?"

I grabbed his left hand and cuffed him to the sink. He's left handed. He will be helpless. I patted the top of his head. "Be a good boy. Mama will be right back."

He isn't putting up a fight but I happen to know Terrence like the back of my hand. When he's this calm in a situation that he isn't supposed to be calm, he's scheming.

I'm taking him to London. We have never been to London. Maybe we can go to Sydney after that. A little Aussie accent will be good to have.

I found a little diner not far from the motel. I ordered breakfast for both of us. As I was waiting, Terrence casually strolled in with a smile on his face. "I won't take mine to go. I want to sit here and enjoy my breakfast."

"How did you... how did you get out of the handcuffs?"

"Alexei said there are two ways. One, a pin. Two, dislocated the thumb." I frowned at him. His thumbs look fine. "I broke the sink."

He rolled up his sleeve to show me the cuffs still attached to his wrist. He tucked it under his sweater.

It is evident that Terrence and I are deviant. We can't be helped. I would have done the same thing, break the damn sink. I have no patience for pins. The breakfast was brought to us by an older waitress who smiled at Terrence. "How lovely! Enjoy this moment. They grow up fast." She patted my shoulder.

I don't want Terrence to grow up. I wish he could stay like this forever.

"You will pay for the sink. I'm not paying for it."

He chuckled adorably. "I'm enjoying this trip. It's a nice change. You should kidnap me more often."

"I'll remember that. Next time, black van and masked men. We will grab you when you least expect it."

"Mom! You just ruined the surprise by telling me!" He laughed.

I love this kid! "I'm enjoying it too."

We are in comfortable silence. I'm actually enjoying this. I have the best hostage in the world! I have the best son in the world!

"When are you telling Ferrer about the baby?"
