As we approached the entrance I showed my ID and Markus and I made our way toward the front desk. Our plan was for Markus to ask the androids working at the front to help let us in hoping there wouldn't just be human workers even though they were progressively becoming less and less likely to come across.

I made a quick glance at the desk and noticed one human employee, my old friend Elizabeth was on shift working on one of the company computers. Even though she wasn't one of my closest friends while working here last year, my relationship with her was strong enough to buy Markus some time while he asked one of the androids to help us.

We stood on opposite sides of the booth both getting to work.

"Goodness, it's been so long since the last time we saw each other Lizzie! How have you been this last year?" I attempted to make my voice as cheery as possible making a quick glance over to Markus signaling him to call the desk telephone.

She turned to me with a wide smile as she turned her full attention to me.

Perfect.

"Y/N? Oh Y/N! I've been doing great hun! I will tell you what tho, this job has really been a bit of a drag since you left. How have you been?"

"Oh, you know just the usual. Routine just the same since we last spoke." I said with a wide smile.

"Speaking of which, how has your daughter Emily been lately? I heard this last year was quite a struggle for Saint Rose School this year."

I spoke up making sure Markus understood to call pretending to be from her daughter's school office.

"Oh, she's been well-"

As anticipated, she was cut off by the phone picked it up, and quickly got ready to leave to pick up her daughter.

"The school just called telling me Emily is running a fever. I guess she isn't in reality doing well. It was nice chatting but I gotta rush. Hopefully, see you soon Y/N!"

She smiled as she grabbed her purse and made her way toward the exit.

I glanced towards Markus as he motioned for me to follow glancing towards our main way in.

We walked in together and made our way towards the offices as I talked with a fellow employee complaining about how I had forgotten some extra potted plants before my new job as she led us into the area of the establishment we were to let North and the others through while Markus grabbed his uniform from the bathroom.

I stood around pretending to look around at the multiple plants beside the vending machines, playing the acting ruse as Markus walked in with his employee uniform on.

We both made our way toward the emergency exit door, letting in North wearing the same uniform.

At this point, we were approaching the part of the plan where North and Markus would need to separate in order to access the broadcasting center while I stayed on the lower floors in order to disturb the nearby camera room. Even though the androids posted in the tower would be dealt with by Markus and the others, my job was to use my past history to disable the remaining cameras on the ceiling, and lower hallways, and distract the workers posted outside the broadcast room entrance.

Walking at a steady pace, I made my way towards the lower camera room doors and took a deep breath before entering, hoping my constant chats with fellow employees last year weren't for nothing.

I smiled noticing two familiar faces as they turned their heads from the multiple monitors to face me.

I smiled and approached Ryan hugging him as the other looked from the corner of his eye at us oddly.

"Y/N! It's been forever since I last saw you Omgosh! Dylan! This is Y/N one of my close friends who used to work in the file sorting department a few years back." Ryan smiled motioning for Dylan to stand and introduce himself."

Dylan smiled and stood, coming to shake my hand with a cup of coffee on his left, right in my own. I smiled, introducing myself, and began making the conversation interesting enough to hold both of their attention until I noticed Markus and the rest had safely gotten past the lower-level cameras.

I smiled before saying my goodbyes and making my way toward the upper tower broadcast center. I took in a shaky breath I hadn't realized I had been holding in as hope filled me realizing my connections had truly come in handy after all.

We might actually pull this off.

I pray we pull this off.

I entered the main entrance and hoped again that another familiar face would be at the desk ready to get a piece of my social interaction level for the day. Lucky for me, at the desk sat one of Leo's cousins, George, typing on the computer.

"George! Omgosh! You grew a mustache since the last time I saw you. How's life been treating you?"

"Y/N! What a pleasant surprise, I definitely wasn't expecting to see you here."

"Me neither until I noticed my beloved succulent Phil was still waiting for me here at the office."

I faked a laugh now feeling the stress of the situation we would be in if I couldn't keep the conversation flowing with both of them.

Thankfully George knew the other employee quite well and the three of us made conversation about video games and such until Markus let me know through my earpiece that they were ready for me to safely leave before things could possibly get messy.

Little did I know that Connor would be in the same building as me in a few days, hunting us down.
