Hey guys! I'm back! I am sorry it has taken me a while to get back on track with writing this book and I know that this is very overdue! I hope you can all forgive me and I hope you enjoy this chapter!

I had been running for what seemed like an eternity when I finally came to a stop. My indicator notified me that my heart rate was above average and I began taking deep breaths to calm my booming heart. I needed a run more than anything after what I had been forced to process.

I can't believe it.

She really is gone.

A few minutes ago a live news broadcast got sent out containing the information that a group of androids had begun a strike to free their kind from slavery. They had disguised themselves as workers and sent out a message for the whole world to see, telling everyone to end theirs towards them. The thing is that not all of them leading the strike were androids, one was human.

And of all people, Y/n is alongside them.

My mind raced for a few moments and I heard an irritated groan escape my clenched mouth. I was mad. Mad that she was putting herself in this much of a risk. She was going head-on against the world. A mad twisted war against the living and the artificial.

Hank and I began to feel worried, but we had never imagined that this was the main cause of her absence. We called several times but in the end, came to no avail. After time had dragged on for too long we decided to search her house from top to bottom but found nothing that would lead to her being kidnapped or killed so we assumed she had left on vacation or something else at first. After a few days of nothing we visited the establishment where Y/n works and asked if she had informed them of leaving for a vacation. They told us that they had attempted several times to contact her as well but they couldn't get a hold of her.

We began a search for her car since it was also missing and ended up about one day later finding it at the dump. This confused us. But now at this moment, it seemed clear

Y/n was compassionate about helping androids but I would never have wanted her to go this far. One simple mistake and she could be gone forever! I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. The air was still and silent. It was somewhat soothing in a way. After a few moments, a scream from the right interrupted my state and I immediately sprung into action turning the corner.

I came face to face with a couple. They seemed to be enjoying their time together, eating ice cream together. The woman screamed when her boyfriend put some ice cream on her nose. I changed from my tense state and straightened my tie, sighing in relief. Why am I always so protective? I turned around and began walking back towards the offices.

I will bring you back Y/n. I promise.
