Y/n

After the whole incident with Hank, I began inviting him and his partner Connor over for dinner occasionally. I wanted to get closer to Hank and get to know his partner Connor so why not. After a few dinner nights, I was indeed getting closer to him and I began to feel like that empty void inside me with not having him as my father was now filled again.

I felt like he was actually my father now. I also have gotten closer to Connor as well, and now I consider him a close friend of mine.

Because of all these dinners, however, I soon noticed that I needed to fill my fridge and pantry with food again so I decided to grab my jacket and my purse and head to the nearest grocery store. I made my way to the nearest Whole Foods Market in search of the miracle of food and entered after locking my car.

Once I entered, I noticed how big and spread out the store was and began to feel worried that I would possibly get lost. And sure enough after about ten minutes of shopping, I got lost. It wasn't my fault that the owners of this Whole Foods Market decided to build the place as wide as four Costco stores.

I sighed and began to finish up my shopping when I bumped into someone very familiar. I rubbed my forehead and apologized to however I rammed myself into out of instinct and looked up to see nonother than Markus. At first, I wasn't sure if this RK200 model android was indeed Markus or if he was just the same model. But once I noticed his different and unique clothing, I knew he had to be him.

"Are you alright?" Markus asked as I noticed he was holding a miniature shopping cart full of what looked like painting equipment.

I steadied myself and smiled at him.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm sorry I ran into you. I'm clumsy like that."

He laughed for a moment at my statement and smiled as well.

"I remember you. You helped me out of that fight about two weeks ago. Thank you for that by the way." He said with a smile. But soon his smile faded as he continued. "Why are you here by yourself? And why are you all the way in the back of the store?"

"Oh. I didn't know that I wandered all the way to the back. Wow. I really am clumsy!" I said face palming.

He laughed and continued speaking. "Would you like me to help you to the exit? I was headed there anyways."

I nodded happily letting him lead me by the hand to the front entrance. It took a while, but once we finally got there I was happy to see the sunlight from the windows again. We both checked out and made our way outside to the parking lot. But we didn't part just yet. I put my stuff in my car and turned around to see Markus again.

"Would you like to come over to my owner's house and meet him? I understand if you're too busy." He asked as I locked my car up.

"Sure! I've been needing a walk anyways." I said and we began walking together. Halfway through the walk, my mind drifted toward what he had said earlier when he referred to a person as his owner and I wanted to ask him about it. "Hey, Markus. When you talked to me earlier, you referred to someone being your owner. Do you feel as if you're only under their control or do you think for yourself as well?" I asked looking to my left into his eyes as I spoke continuing to walk. He looked back at the path for a moment thinking.

"I don't know exactly. I do whatever he needs me to do, and I do them happily knowing he can't do much without help because of his age. But He has told me several times that when he's gone I need to think for myself and have my own life. So I guess that means I will after he's gone. I don't want him to die though." He stated sadly keeping his eyes on the path we were walking on as he spoke.

"He sounds important to you. I'm happy you two are close like that." I said placing my hand on his shoulder as a sign of comfort. He looked up from the ground and smiled at me as we went around a corner to reveal a huge house ahead of us. I looked in front of us and gasped taking my hand off his shoulder out of surprise. He looked at me in concern.

"Is something wrong Y/n?" He asked following my gaze to the house. I quickly shook my head smiling a big smile.

"No, nothing's wrong. It's just been so long since I've seen that house." And there in front of me was none other than Carl's house.
