Chapter 5 I'm a what now?!

I finished eating my pancakes, and OOh Salem knows how to make some mean pancakes, I have never eaten pancakes for a really long time, I realized now that I love pancakes, pancakes are really yummy. "Um...Violet" the voice of Tara calling my name broke me from my reverie.

"Huh?".

"were you out with the fairies?!" She chuckled.

"I was just thinking about pancakes......by the way great pancakes Salem!".

"Thanks! I'm glad you liked them!" he smiled, and oh my gosh his smile is so adorable. I smiled back.

"I'm sorry Violet, but I need to go because my friend is expecting me" Tara said.

"It's okay" I replied. She left the kitchen and I heard a soft click on the front door.

I was left alone with Salem, and we sat in an awkward silence. I didn't know for sure what to say; 'yeah thanks for kidnapping me' or I could talk and talk about pancakes and he would just think I'm weird.

I told Salem I was heading upstairs to take a shower, and left the kitchen.

I grabbed a towel, and some clothes. When I got in the shower I didn't notice myself singing to Up All Night, by Owl City. Wait didn't Salem say he wanted to talk to me about something? oh yeah the stick, I have to know what it is.

After I got out of the shower, I went downstairs to get a glass of water. I walked past Salem who was in the lounge watching tv. "Owl City?! really?!". He surprised me when he said that, OMG aaahhhh he heard me why!!! *telepathic facepalm*. I blushed in embarrassment and walked awkwardly back upstairs without saying a word cause I was too embarrassed to look at him at this moment.

When I entered my room, I shut the door and flopped on the bed. I can't believe this happened. Then an idea popped into my mind -(imagine a little light bulb on top of her head)- if this stick really has powers, then maybe I could erase Salem's mind, and make him forget he ever heard me. You're really smart Violet, aww thanks Violet. But what should I say? is there something specific? Nah, what could go wrong?

So I held the....umm.....I think it's a wand, I tiptoed downstairs, and sneaked behind Salem who was still on the couch. Then he suddenly stood up and turned to face me "umm...what are.....".

I panicked and waved the wand "MINDENESS ERACENESS". It zapped and knocked Salem out. "OH MY GOSH! WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST DO?!! I ran to Salem and sat next to him to check his pulse.

Okay his pulse is normal and he is breathing fine, he's going to be okay, and there is no need to panic. "SALEM! wake up!!". I shook his arm, which made him groan.

"ugh! but I don't wanna go to school mommy".

"I'm not your mum you idiot!".

Salem opened his eyes "wait who are you? and where am I?"

Oh god! okay go ahead and panic!

"Please tell me you're joking!"

"Oh that's right, I'm a clown and I worked in the circus for 5 years" he declared.

"What?! No! your name is Salem" I helped him up as Tara walked in, then suddenly Salem screamed "aaaaa! it's hideous" and he hid behind the couch.

"What's going on, monkey face?!" Tara smirked, then she got serious "really what's wrong with him?". She looked at me with the 'tell me what the heck is going on or I'll kill you' face.

Salem was running around in the background like "look at me!! I'm flying! I'm flying!!"

I played with my hair nervously "Umm...hhh....cute story....umm long story short, I used the stick thingy and put a spell on Salem to make him forget I was singing in the shower, but it made him lose his mind". I thought she was going to yell at me or something, but she just burst out laughing.

"Oh yeah you were singing to Owl City" Salem smirked.

"Really?! you forgot everything but still remembered that?!!"

that made Tara laugh even harder, and I was giving her the 'hello! your brother lost his memory' face. Then she said "hold on I'm going to get a potion to reverse the spell". She walked away but continued to chuckle.

Salem was still running around in the lounge saying things and pretending he was a bird or a fish.

"Right I remember now! we are at Hogwartz! oh look a unicorn!" Salem pointed into thin air. It's fine it's just some hallucination, nothing to worry about. "Okay Salem let's watch some tv till Tara gets back" I turned on the tv.

Tara came back with the potion, she threw at Salem and he was knocked out...again. "It takes about 10 minuets for him to wake up", Tara said.

"So you're not mad?"

"No not at all, I think it's pretty hilarious" she chuckled. She added "I know you're very confused right now, the thing is...is you are not an ordinary girl. you see, you come from a family that has supernatural powers. Like Salem.....you are a wizard"

"I'm a what now?!"

A\N: yeah I'm alive! I'm extremely sorry I haven't updated in ages, but ya know school and stuff and I have been procrastinating a lot recently. I will try my best to update soon because I left you there on a cliffhanger :P
