Chapter 27 She's Gone

"Wake up beautiful" I heard a soft voice say.

I fluttered my eyes open to see Andrew beside me stroking my arm. I was in a green room that looked familiar to me. It was the room me and Andrew played in when we were kids.

"Where am I?" I stretched my arms and sat straight. I kinda knew the answer but I still asked.

"You're home". He said and walked me out.

My shoulder was sour and it was wrapped with a white cloth. Hmm I wonder why.

"Oh Violet, sweetie. I can't believe they took you away from me!" Aunt Helda held me tight "did they hurt you? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Thank you for taking me away from them" I hugged her back.

"Violet, I'm sorry you had to find out about yourself from them. I was going to tell you but they beat me to it. I'm a wizard too". She said with a warming smile.

"It's fine" i said. "But why didn't you search for me?"

"I was looking for you all this time! And Andrew finally found you" she said. "I know you have a lot of questions, and I'm ready to answer them all".

"Why did they kidnap me? And what is this curse everyone is talking about?" I asked the first thing that came to my mind.

"They wanted to use your powers. Cause you can connect with spirits from out of this realm including demons and devils, and even every creature".

My eyes widened "wha.." Does that mean I can get them on my side? No wonder the people that took me wanted me to believe they are 'family'. I should be more careful with people from now on. No one can be trusted. But at least I know aunt Helda is the nicest person ever.

"And I want you to work with me and we can change the world" she looked eagerly at me.

"I'll do anything" I smiled. Cause I know she will do good.

It all makes sense now. That's why Salem didn't tell me the truth. He was afraid I find out and ruin his plan. That asshole. I now know that what aunt Helda did in the past was to make me stronger.

My aunt told me to go to my room and rest while she works on something. I went up with Andrew.

"Why do I feel like I want to kick you?" I asked as we sat on the bed.

"I...don't know" he laughed. 

"Never mind" I shook my head "I've missed you, ya know"

"Yeah me too" he put an arm around me while we lied down. "So you don't want to go to Salem?"

That name sounded familiar but I couldn't figure out where I have heard it before. "Who's Salem?"

"Oh, no never mind".

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"We wait until your aunt is ready to mash up both of your powers" he replied.

"Hmm. So can we go out?" I asked. I feel like I want to see Brighton again although I wasn't gone long.

"It's kinda late, don't you think? And I'm too lazy to go outside" he replied.

I laughed "okay"

Salem's POV

I'm still in shock. How could this happen? I knew there was something about this Andrew guy, but I still helped him for Violet. But even after we helped him, he betrayed us.

I searched everywhere in the wizworld. No sight of her.

Maybe the unicorn can track her. But I can't understand him.
