Just a kid?

never coming back

Nobody POV:

Dream was slowly walking towards Wilburs room. The others nooded and followed Dream. All of them were right behind him. Tommys shoulders tensed a bit scared what there could be behind this door. But he would never admit that.

Instead he tries to play cool. Which kind of worked. The others didn't question it. When Dream opened the door. There was- there was... there was nothing exept for 2 shattert things on the ground. There were in tiny pieces so you couldn't tell what they were before they broke.

Wilbur was still lying on the bed. Phil and Tommy immedaitely ran towards Will and hugged him. Tho Phil quickly let go and checked his son for injuries. Luckly he was fine. Not hurt at all. Just some old scars on his face and arms from the wars.

But exept for that he semed fine. There was something else what cought phil and tommys attention though. There was a white string in willburs hair. Which they do not remeber but decided to shrug it off. Like they always do when they have to face a problem or changes they just ignore it like stubborn children

„we now know what the sound made but we don't know who made the sound. What now?" Punz asked pointing to the pieces on the floor. 

Dream noticed that the pieces hadn't much colour. Exept for a light blue and white. They also were pretty close to the table so Dream guessed that those pieces used to be plattes.

„yeah who would go into a random room and break something just to escape again. This doesn't sound very locial since this has no use at all." Phil asked walking towards the pieces. It was weird the room semed fine exept for the brocken plates on the floor.

„maybe you could have cought them if you didn't stand there watching me passing out." Dream hissed and put a bit venom in his voice. He defently did not like the idea that they saw how he passed out. How weak he is that a single memorie was able to knock him out. Because he is too weak and pathetic 

Punz and techno frowned. Phil was about to say something but decided against it. He knew that Dream won't belive him. 

Tommy stood there confused. Why did Dream say that they were just making sure he was fine. How can he not notice? Does he not know what looking out for each other is? Or caring for someone? 

Sam just tried to keep his cold face on but it slipped and they saw that he was also confused on how blind Dream is. Dream on the other hand quickly analyzed the room and realized there faces and he did not like it. He thinks there were trying to lie to him. Tricking him into feeling guitlty and he will not let this happen.

He couldn't trust them and he will defently not make the same mistake again. Letting his emotion his naiveness take over. He will make sure he will never ever make atteachments again.

After calming down his thoughts. Dream slowly moved towards the broken plates when suddendly a hand grabbed his shoulder. It was cold and made him flinch. When he turned around he saw it was Glatt. What was he doing here?

No time for this. Dream made sure his face stayed calm and did not show any signs of weakness or emotions. He could not let his plan fail not yet. He had come so far. There was no going back.

„do you know where Ghostbur is?" Glatt asked his voice echoed through the room. Dream just looked disinteressed at him and his question. But the other 4 bit there lip. Not wanting to to explain that Ghostbur is gone and will not come back. Techno had no reaction. His face stayed calm. Not completely sure what to say. 

„let go of me" Dream said his voice still quit and Glatt almost missed it. „sure kiddo" He asnwerd with a smile and took his hand back. But dream was confused. Kiddo? Did he not remeber him.

Gosh no Dream isn't wearing his mask. He mentally slapped himself for being so stupid. He was so used to wearing it. But not wanting more trouble Dream just nodded. Deciding he should not tell the ghost his name.

„So where is-" Glatt was about to ask his question again but when he turned around he stopped himself. Notecing how they bit their lip and avoided looking at him. Well exept for Techno he was just standing there looking just as interessed as Dream. 

„he is not coming back Glatt" Techno finally said and raised his and to point at Wilbur. To signal that he was revived but in midway he stopped seeing the ghost sad. Very sad.

He looked like he was about to cry. He looked over to will and immedaitely understood that this used to be his friend and that he was back. But Ghostbur is gone. Forever  and he was not coming back

Techno saw it as not necessarily to point out that Glatts old friend was now Revived. Since he obviously put the pieces together himself.

Punz figured that Glatt dropped the plates looking for Ghostbur. „But-" Sam was about to say something to Glatt but before he could start. Glatt disappeared. He probably needed sometime alone.

Phil sighed and they turned there attention to Dream who was now leaning against the table. It looked like he was gathering strengh. Dream noticed how there stared and shot them a blick and he whisperd. „What are you looking at. Did you finally decide to kill me or what?"

Punz was getting angry. They told him so many times they were not killing him. Why does he keep asking? Why would he want to die? This is so stupid why does he want them to kill him? It made Punz sad and angry at the same time.

„We already told you we will not fucking kill you. So stop it!" Tommy raised his voice a bit and took a step forwards and honestly wasn't surprised when Dream flinched back. But it made him wonder when Dream wore his mask he wasn't like this. He told him slef he was probably just overthinking. And shrug it off again.

Dream laughed bitter. It was empty and meant nothing. He slowly laughed louder and looked Tommy straight in his eyes. This creeped Tommy out but he couldn't show weakness infront of Dream.

„so? What are you gonna do about it kill me?" Dream had a small smirk on his face but this smirk was just as empty and sad as his laugh. He stopped laughing and stood up straigh. All this cought the others by surprise and they took a step back. How pathetic 

No answer just what Dream expected. His smirk fell and he looked at the celling. Only a bit longer and my plan is done. I cannot mess up. I have to make sure it goes prefectly fine
