"Where?" I asked timidly.

He shrugged. "Where do you want?"

I pursed my lips and literally think. Napatingin ako kay Cali nang dumaan siya sa pwesto namin.

"Where are you going?" I asked immediately.

"Kakain. Balak mo ba akong gawing third wheel?"

She laughed, but I can't help but send her a dagger look.

"You're so annoying."

"I'm sure Giovan has a car, kunin ko na si Kuya Drew. Ingat sa paparazzi ha! I don't want to be stress!"

Hindi pa ako nakakasagot ay lumabas na siya doon. I bit my lip and looked at Giovanni.

My lips protrude. "Is it okay If I wear a mask?" I asked slowly.

It's okay lang naman if makita ako ng people sa labas. I mean, hindi naman big deal iyon. But seeing me with a man is a big no-no. Iniisip ko palang iyong mga speculations nila, I can feel my headache na.

He looked intently into my eyes before saying something. Then he looked outside and slowly nodded.

"If you're comfortable at that."

I nodded slowly and reached for my bag. I always carry a mask around or cap and shades. Just so fewer people would recognize me.

He guided me to his car. Hindi ko alam why I feel anxious. This is the first time that I'll walk in New York street with a man that is not- my co-worker. I mean, if someone sees me noon with another model guy or artist, it's because of work. And that's super sometimes lang.

I suggested a restaurant to him, which he said was fine.

"Wala kang trabaho?" he asked as we sat down inside the restaurant.

Umiling naman ako.

"The day after tomorrow pa."

He nodded slowly as he looks at me.

"For a magazine," I continued. "Ikaw?"

"Wala."

Napataas naman ang kilay ko.

"Yeah, I kept thinking about that. Hindi ba dapat kahit sa launching ka lang present? Why are you here?"

"You sound like you don't want me here."

My lips protrude. "I'm just asking..."

"I want to be with you."

I groaned. "Stop it."

Hindi na siya nakapagsalita nang dumating na iyong food. I didn't look at the waitress and keep my eyes on the food. The restaurant is actually nice. It has a nice interior that I think is calming.

Si Cali lang nagsabi sa akin nito noon because hindi nga ako lumalabas madalas.

"What will you do tomorrow?" he asked as we started eating.

"I'll be at the agency."

"What time?"

I chewed and swallowed. "Ten? Yeah, mga gano'n."

"You have a driver, right?"

I nodded, slowly looking at him as he drinks his water. When his eyes met mine, I blinked.

"Can I take you to work instead?" he calmly said.

Buti nalang nalunok ko na iyong food ko. I cleared my throat and sat straight. Slightly breathing hard for my racing heart.
