"Are you done na ba?"

"Wait lang naman. Hindi sing bilis ng lightning mag work ang brain cells ko." Sagot ni Cali habang nagsusulat sa papel.

We are currently at one of the tables outside our building. Ginagawa namin ung project namin where partners kaming dalawa. It is due in four days and we're almost done naman na. Kailangan nalang iyong narrative analysis ng mga financial statements.

"Gaano ba kabilis ang lightning?"

"Ewan ko, Astrid. Shhhh ka lang diyan."

I chuckled and look around. Halos konti nalang ang tao dito dahil almost five pm na rin. Maaga lang naman umuuwi ang mga senior high dahil wala naman kaming klase na hanggang gabi. I put my chin on my hand that's resting on the table.

Inabala ko nalang ang sarili sa pag s'scoll sa social media. Wala na akong pag-asa sa social media ni Giovanni dahil mukhang wala naman siya noon. And because I'm getting bored while waiting for Cali to finish her part, I opened my camera and took a picture of her and uploaded it to instagram.

I followed her already, though it's not something I willingly did. Kinulit niya lang din ako.

"Okay, I'm done! Narrative nalang iyong kulang 'no?"

"Yup. Are you sure that's balance?" I asked.

"Trial balance e. So balance."

I glared at her and she chuckled.

"Totoo naman. Balance nga ung trial balance. Pareho din naman iyong balance sheet saka income statement. Bahala ka nalang sa cashflows."

"Fine. 'Pag you talaga mali ha!"

"Anong gagawin mo?" she smiles.

"Pakain ko sa'yo yang paper."

She laughed and started to fixed her things. Ganoon din naman ang ginawa ko. Nagtext na din ako kay Kuya Walter na pasundo na. My brother's class ended a while ago kaya wala na dito 'yon. Even if I want to please my self and find Giovan, I have a lot of things to do. Isa pa, I've had enough of his masungit face this week.

"Bukas may meeting nga pala tayo sa room 'no. Excited na 'ko sa teacher's day!"

I groaned when I remembered it, late na naman kami uuwi bukas. I hate things like that.

"Anong nakaka excite do'n?"

"Nakaka excite 'yon sa mga normal students Astrid. Hindi na ako nag tataka kung hindi ka excited."

I rolled my eyes, "You're just mean like me!"

Natawa siya at sinukbit ang braso sa akin.

"Joke lang. Tampo ka naman kaagad. Love you kaya."

"Hindi kita love."

"Aww. I love you too."

I shrugged my shoulder to get off of her but just chuckled in the end.

Kinabukasan, kahit puro lectures ay feeling ko na s'stress ako dahil sa meeting mamaya. I'm sure they'll just ask opinions on what to do on teacher's day, though, it was the same every year. Some cakes and props around the room. I sighed.

"Anong ginagawa mo every teacher's day?"

Napalingon ako kay Cali sa tabi ko. Tapos na ang klase at naghihintay nalang kami sa class captain namin na magsalita.

"What do you mean?" I asked, eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"Diba sabi mo, wala ka naman friends no'n. Eh every programs puro mag babarkada iyong magkakasama." She raised her eyebrows and eyed me carefully.
