I was siting down on my bed looking through my phone.
I was excited yet scared.

Sunny my best friend who I've only know for about 2 months has asked me out on a date. We've talked alot but never talked about many things. But he's pretty and smart and kind. So I easily caught feeling. I've been living alone for awhile sense polly died in her sleep it made me sad. But I was okay on my own. Kel Aubry kel hero Mari , and sunny would all visit me. We were completely strangers then I became friends with them. I'm glad I did or I would still be completely lonely. I looked as I got a text from Aubrey.

I turned off my phone. And heard a knock on the door. I checked the time before I put my phone in my pocket. 7:32pm. Time for the date I'm nervous. Is this actually a date or as friends gah.

I walked down the stairs almost Triping catching myself. I opened the door.

"Hey basil." Sunny said.  Sunny was dressed as he usually was I had something different but not to different I guess it was fine.

"Let me get my shoes on." I said I slipped on my shoes and went outside me and sunny walked down to the park.

"So basil we never really got a time to actually talks bout something." Sunny said. "Yea I guess but what would you wanna know?" I asked.

"Well I guess what do you like to do." He said.
"Well I like art reading and plants I also like to take photo with my camera back at my house I have some nice photos on there." I said.

"Nice I like to watch tv sleep and go to the beach." He said.
"I like the park here it's next to lake and it's nice and calming but sometimes hearing the water makes me wanna pee." I said with a laugh.

Sunny laughed a little as we arrived to the park.
I sat down on the bench and sunny sat by me. Sometimes I would call sunny omori for no reason. Just for like I should kind of.

"So basil how long have you lived here?" Sunny asked.
"Well I was here sense I was born." I said.
"I moved here about 6 years ago." He said.
"Have you ever visited the cafe here?" I asked.
"Yea they had nice cookies and cake." Sunny said.
"I enjoyed there coffee." I said.
"Wait basy you drink coffee?" Sunny said.
"Yea and wait basy?" I said.
"You know a nice name for your name basil basy see?" He said.
"Oh well um what would I call you then." I said.
"Well we could just call each other by are names hm?" He said.
"Hmmmm okay. " I said.

I moved my legs so my chin was on my knees and I was looking at the stars.
"You know all those stars are pretty." He said.
"Yea." I said.
" Do you like stars?" He asked looking at me.
"Well of course they shine bright and shine beautifully and there shine makes it not completely dark at night." I said looking at him.

We stared at each other for a moment and I looked away looking to the side. I put my legs down.

"Hey sunny?" I asked.
"Yea basil?" He said.
I paused for a moment. I wanted to say I liked him but this is probably for us to hang out as friends plus he he probably doesn't like guys and I'm weird. And we've been friends for 2 months. Or is that fine gah I don't know.

"Um nevermind." I said I looked at him and he was already looking at me. I turned my head fast and looked the other way. I felt my face heat up. I'm stupid for agreeing I don't think I can handle this gahhh!

"Hey basil...I wanna tell you something." He said.
"Oh um yes." I said looking at him.
"I know you probably only see me as a best friend and I'll but I....." Before he finished I shouted.

"I like you to!" I then covered my mouth and I felt my face heat up. "I'm....I'm....I'm......glad you like me back." He said smiling. I cried and hugged him. He hugged back.

Did I actually do it?
Yes I did! I can tell Aubry or wait...

"Sunny can I ask something?" I said standing up.
"Yea sure." He said.
"You like me back right?" I asked. He nodded.
"So are we dating?" I asked he nodded yes.
"Are we gonna keep this a secret." I asked.
"I mean if you want to I guess." He said.
"Well I don't want to well I do but I don't know I don't think I'm ready for people to know I don't know I don't want it to be weird or I umm." I said I couldn't find anything to really say.

"We won't tell anyone untill you feel like it okay." He said.
I smiled "yea thanks." I said.
