After the plane crash
Once they were back at the station y/n changed out of her wet clothes and into warm and dry clothes as everyone was upstairs in the kitchen. As she was putting her clothes in her locker she heard footsteps behind her. The girl looked behind her to see buck stop like a feet in headlights once he realized she noticed him.
"Heyy" buck said dragging out the y
"Hi buck" y/n said as he walked over and sat by her
"Hen told me what happened" buck sighed "I know it's not your first time loosing someone you were helping but I just want you to know I'm here for you if you need me to be"
"Thank you that means a lot" y/n sighs even though that wasn't the problem right now, she looked up at him for the first time since he sat down
'wow he looks good in this lighting'
"Earth to y/n" buck waved his hand in front of her face
"I'm here, sorry just a long day" the girl set her hand down on her thigh and turned to face him a little more so he knew he had her full attention
"I'm here if you need to talk, I can tell something is bothering you" buck grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes
"It's nothing really, I can handle it on my own" the girl couldn't tell him about the situation with him talking to the girl on the phone making her jealous, she liked buck.
"You don't have to deal with everything on your own" buck urged her further
"I know but I can't really talk to you about this" y/n said causing buck to look at her offended "not meaning that in a bad way buck it's just, fuck, okay how do I say this"
"Just say it" buck said irritated
"Buck your one of my best friends here and I don't want you to think less of me or it ruin anything when I tell you this" y/n told him
"I won't" buck told her "I won't"
"Okay then" y/n took a deep breath "I'm going to sound like a Highschooler again when I tell you my feelings but I like you buck and I don't want you to feel awkward around me after this because if you don't like me back then it's fin-"
Buck interrupted her with a kiss, it only lasted a split second because hen walked downstairs and gasped loud enough for them to hear it. The two backed away and buck stood up from the bench immediately, y/n looked like the deer in headlights now

Present
"16 DOA so far. Mostly blunt trauma to the head" buck explains to Bobby who had just walked in to the scene of the wedding. The floor had crashed when dancing leaving the guests to fall through two floors "or crushed by falling debris or other bodies."
"One victim impaled." Y/n adds from beside buck
"They fell through two stories. I won't be surprised if that number goes higher" bobby says looking up
"Captain, the groom is devastated... his bride hasn't been accounted for yet." Hen says walking up to bobby
"We'll find her. Buck, I'm gonna need you to go up top." Bobby explains "Access to the second floor is blocked. We're gonna have to tackle this thing from both ends."
"Okay, Captain." Buck nodded and walked away
"Savita! Savita!" The groom yelled looking for his wife "Savita!"
"Step back. Step back, it's okay." Bobby stood him
"If she's in there, we will find her." Y/n tells him looking around what he was digging at but the man stopped her and went to dig again
