Feelings// 9-1-1 x Reader

(This is so short because of how much was happening with other people in this chapter and I just couldn't add y/n in alot)

"Any word on how Operation Buck Up Buck is going?" Hen asked Eddie after they finished putting out a fire, Eddie took out his phone to show her a photo. Y/n went over and looked at his phone, chim joined in as well

"This was this morning. Full stack. Then I think the movies. Good luck."  Eddie read from his phone before they all laughed "By now, Chris has come down from a serious sugar high, and Buck is regretting his life choices."

"Hey, did someone leave a hydrant open?" Bobby asked looking at the ground that was covered with water

"I don't think it's a hydrant, Cap." Eddie said as his phone showed 'tsunami alert'

They pulled up to the road and got as far as they could before they got to where the wave reached, a little behind was where all of the rescue teams were

"One wave did all of this?" Hen asked as her and chim got on top of the truck and looked out at the mess ahead of them

"We already had two so far. Expect another four or five before it starts to recede. We're commandeering everything that'll float to supplement our Zodiacs." A man told them and began walking causing them to follow

"I heard there were four firehouses in the path of this thing." Bobby looked at him

"Yeah, they've all checked in. Except for the 136." He informed them "They were responding to a call at the pier when the surge hit, so... if you see any blue out there-"

"We'll holler" Bobby finished

"Okay, let's work fast, people, in between waves." Bobby told them all as they went down then flooded roads on a blow up boat.

"Help! Please! Help!" Someone yelled out

"Cap!" Chim said when he found sight of the face

"I see it, Chim." Bobby nodded as they went over to her carefuly

"Be careful, guys. Unstable." Bobby told them looking at the boat

"my sons are inside. Please hurry!" She yelled

"I'll check you out, sir." Chim said as him and y/n went to a man on the boat

"Normally, we'd travel them both with object intact, and let the ER sort it out." Hen said as her and Bobby climbed back up the stairs

"Except for this case, the object is a radio station antenna and a boat." Bobby told her "We need to separate them. Can we do that?"

"It seems to have missed the kid's heart and lungs. I'm not sure about the stepdad. He's got about a half dozen vital organs it could've hit, So as long as we keep both pieces in them, maybe." She told him

"That's not a no." Bobby said as they went back down. Seconds later hen brought the woman out and brought her to y/n so she could check her out soon enough after the girl was done her son was brought out and she ran away from y/n and to him she began to talk to him before turning to bobby

"What about Chuck?"

Bobby began to put on the scuba gear quickly saying something about needing to go under the boat to help get the two unstuck

"Always did love Jacques Cousteau as a kid." Chim told him

"You and me, both." Bobby said before putting on the mask, he put his thumbs up at y/n and chim as they did it back telling him he could get in the water

"Cap's in the water." Y/n told Eddie and hen

"you seeing this?" Bobby asked telling radio in his mask allowing them to best him, y/n and chim looked out to see the water moving towards them

"We got another surge!" Chim yelled to hen and eddie

"Copy that" Eddie replied as the water rose quickly

"This is bad" hen said panicked

"Very bad" y/n nodded st her agreeing

Y/n was now on the front of the boat waiting for Bobby to come back so she could help him up and onto the boat once again

"Water's coming faster, Cap!" Eddie spoke through the radio

"Copy that, Eddie." He said back "I'll bang three times on the hull when it's done."

"Eddie, antenna is clear." Bobby spoke

"Bring in that backboard!" Eddie yelled out

They were finally ready to be transported

"118, we need backup at the Santa Monica Pier."

"Copy that." Eddie spoke "Cap! The man is asking for available hands down at the Pier."

"Okay, Chim, Hen, you transport the patients." Bobby told them

"Copy that. " chim nodded

"Y/n, Eddie, you're with me." Bobby continued

"Copy that" y/n and Eddie said at the same time

"We'll regroup at the staging area." Bobby, told them as they fit into the two separate boats going the two ways they each needed

"You seeing this?" Eddie asked looking at the peir that was completely covered in water as if it had always been there but when they turned to see to Ferris wheel that all changed

"Kinda hard not to" Bobby told him sighing

"Jesus Christ." Y/n looked at the Ferris wheel as they made it to it, two people beisde them began to speak Spanish and Eddie talked to them. y/n, only knowing a but in Spanish, only made out a few words

"Wait, who's up there?" Bobby asked

"La bombera." Eddie stated simply

"Firefighter" y/n told him "specifically a woman"

"Hey, we could use a hand up here." A girl said from the Ferris wheel

"Fire lady." Eddie nodded up at the girl

"incoming, debris" Bobby yelled out, y/n, who lost her balance in the boat from debris hitting it, she fell straight into the ice cold water

(This is the time skip/jump in the show, it's hectic but will make sense in the next chapter)
