𝙁𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩

"I got here as fast as I could." Eddie said walking into the hospital, chim got stabbed "How's he doing?"

"Alive, but he's got a punctured lung and a lacerated stomach." Hen stood up as soon as she saw him

"Is he in surgery?" Eddie sighed

"Not yet. He lost a lot of blood. But as soon as he's stable, they'll prep him for surgery." Y/n said walking up to the two now

"Who would do something like this?" He looked up at the Two who just shook their heads

"You know, Detective Marks didn't believe me. He said no one could be that stupid. I said, You don't know Buck." Athena said as y/n and a few police officers stood behind her. Buck had just used chims fingerprint to unlock his phone

"You know if you didn't do that I wouldn't have to be here making sure you don't do anything stupid" y/n looked over at buck who was sat in the chair next to her

"If you don't like it why don't you leave" buck half snapped at the girl

"Sargent grants orders" the girl shrugged, she was just trying to keep him occupied

"So... that was a bold move." Eddie came over and sat on the free spot next to y/n on the bench

"Yeah, yeah, I know. "What were you thinking, Buck?" I already got an earful from Athena." Buck sighed

"No, I know what you were thinking. I got sisters, too. Still not sure how you thought you were getting away with it, though." Eddie shook his head at buck

"I wasn't worried about that. It's, like, police have all these rules, you know Rules that are gonna get Maddie killed." Buck exclaimed as he turned to the two "But-but I'm a civilian. Those rules, they don't apply to me, right?"

"Then why are you in hospital jail?" Y/n looked at him then up at Athena that was a few feet away from them

"I told Maddie... I said that she didn't need to keep on running, that she could start over here, that she would be safe. That I would keep her safe." Buck teared hp

"This isn't your fault." Eddie sighed softly as he watched buck lean forward "What if she had kept running? You think he wouldn't have found her?"

"Only then, she'd be alone." Y/n added calmly

"She's alone now, with him." Buck looked back up at the two

"I spoke with Detective Marks. He's not happy with you." Athena walked over to the three

"I-I-I just-" buck began

"Yeah, you broke chain of custody. You unlocked Chimney's phone without his permission." Athena interrupted "Marks can't use any of it."

"I'm sorry." Buck sighed "Okay? I was trying to help."

"Okay. Let's go." Athena looked at buck "The car's out front."

"You're arresting me." Buck looked away

"Not yet. But the night's still young." Athena then walked away, Bobby pointed his head towards her as if telling buck to follow her

"Wh-where are we going?" Buck followed her

"To find your sister. If Doug is Jason, this phone is how we find him. But we gonna need a little help." Athena said as the door behind her shut. Eddie looked at y/n and shook his head softly.

It was the next morning now, they were in the waiting room y/n's knee began to bounce from anxiousness. One of her good friends was in the hospital and the other was missing. Her gaze was on the floor until she felt a hand on her thigh stopping her leg, she looked up to make eye contact with Eddie who gave her a soft smile. Y/n gave him one in return before leaning back onto the couch and grabbing onto his hand for comfort. She began to listen to hen as she spoke
