"So Darius... May tells me that you're not going to college next fall." Athena began to grill May's date
"No, Ms., uh, Ms. Grant." He stuttered "Mrs. Nash. Um, I'm taking a gap year and then hopefully Stanford."
"Stanford is a great school. What do you plan on studying?" Michael asked him
"Well, both of my parents are doctors-" he began
"What does one do in a gap year? Bounce around Europe with backpack and a rail pass?" Athena cut him off causing them to laugh
"Mom, be nice." Y/n told her before shaking her head
"I'm not being nice?" She asked
"No, you're being Grandma Bea." Harry told her which made her raise a brow
"So what kind of doctor do you plan on being?" Micheal asked as Bobby began to pick up everyone's plates
"You know, just working with, um-" he couldn't figure out what to say
"Darius, I didn't even go to college." Bobby tried to calm him
"Wait, that's an option?" Harry asked smiling
"No" athena and mocheal said at the same time the door bell then rang
"I'll get it." Bobby called out before he went to the door
"Oh. Um, we should get going." May said before standing up "We don't want to miss the movie. Come on, Darius."
"Wait, May, I thought the movie started at 9:00." Harry tilted his head up at her
"Well, you know, traffic and parking and we need time for the bathroom and ticket booth and all that, so we're probably already late." May tried to convince them all but they already knew she was just trying to leave
"Dinner was great. Pleasure meeting you all" Darius nodded at them
"Yes, I'll see you soon at 11:30 when you drop May off at the door." Athena stood up and

"Have fun." Bobby told them as they walked away
"You scared him off" y/n looked at AAthen and three her hands up in the air
"Elaine, hey. What are you doing here?" Athena looked at the girl who had walked into their house after Bobby let her in
"I'm sorry to bother you at home." She said before looking behind her "Didn't mean to interrupt your dinner."
"Oh, no, we just finished. You want something?" Athena mentioned towards the kitchen "Come on in."
"No, no, um... I had some unexpected news today, and... I didn't want you to hear it from anyone else." She looked down before looking at athena
"Okay." Athena nodded for her to continue
"We found the gun that killed Emmett." She told her, y/n, Micheal and Bobby all looked at each other
"Are... are you sure?" Athena asked shocked, letting out a breath
"Yeah, I had them check and double-check before I came here." She nodded at her
"Who's Emmett?" Bobby asked Micheal
"I have no earthly idea." He shook his head and looked at y/n
"Don't look at me" y/n shrugged just as confused
"Who's Emmett?" Harry popped his head out to her as they all walked out
"Uh, Emmett Washington." She looked st them before breathing out "He was my fiancé."

"still no word from Mom?" y/n asked as she walked out to Bobby, Micheal and may who were on the back porch
"No." Bobby shook his head
"You know I could text her. Say I'm in the hospital, or something." May offered "She'd come running."
"Then kill us all. Yeah" y/n chuckled
"She'd still come." May shrugged "She's our mom."
"Hey, May, can you keep an eye on your dad?" Bobby asked as he stood up "I'll be right back."
"Where you going?" Y/n asked as she watched him
"Calling reinforcements." He said before typing in his phone and walking awah

"Something smells good." Athena walked into the house and into the kitchen and saw everyone plus her mom "Mama?"
"Heard your life blew up again." She looked at her ddaughte

"So handsome." Beatrice looked at the photos Athena was showing them "The son I always wanted."
Bobby and Micheal gave each other a look before shaking their heads
"Wow. So I could've had a completely different dad." Harry exclaimed Micheal looked at him with a look on his face before Athena looked at him
"No. No, you couldn't. You'd be a completely different person.You are who you are because of your dad and me and who we were when we had you." Athena brought him close "I have regrets about Emmett and how he died, but... I do not regret this family. I love you all, and I could not imagine my life without you in it."
"We all love you, too." Bobby smiled and looked st ger
"I'm sorry, Mom. I wish we had known about him sooner." May looked up from the photos and at her
"Oh." Athena smiled tearfully
"Hey, but we know now." Y/n smiled softly
"And we do not want you to put this in a box for another 30 years." Micheal told her
"Go get your answers, Athena. We'll all be here when you're done." Bobby told her she nodded at him softly before looking at her family
That's what she did, Athena found the man that had killed Emmett and put him in jail
