"All of the water from the dam caused more damage than just flooding
and mudslides. It quickly eroded the bottom of the hill, and then-"
"-Brought the whole hill down." Bobby finished for the girl in front of them
"Most of the damage is concentrated east of the dam. Exposed gas lines, unstable structures, and mud." She nodded at the group "Lots of it."
"Any casualties?" Y/n asked as she looked away from hen who stood beside her and was looking at the girl talking
"Two tagged so far, but there's bound to be more." She nodded "LAPD was evacuating residents when the hill came down. Might not have gotten them all out in time."
The three looked at each other obviously worried for Athena hoping she had stayed doing desk duties
"Have any officers checked in with Mobile Command?" Bobby asked
"Not that I've seen, but it's still golden hour."
"It's our best chance to find survivors. After that-" Bobby sighed
"It becomes a recovery operation."
"Should we be worried about more of that hill coming down?" Eddie said as him, buck and chim walked up behind the group
"Yeah, we work quick, we work safe, we hope for the best." Bobby told them "Where do you want us?"
"The Hollywood sign."
The group looked up at it and half of it was gone
"Where's the rest of it?" Buck asked bus voice cracking slightly
"Downhill. About where the H landed just west of here. There were some hikers in the area."
"Guess they should have bought a vowel." Chim said making y/n chuckle softly at him
"Okay, Hen, Eddie, you're with me at the sign." Bobby told them "Chimney, y/n, Buck, you stay here and help search for survivors."
"That's punishment for bad jokes." Hen told chim
"Not bad jokes. Dad jokes." He corrected
"Getting in the habit early." Y/n smiled at him
"I know. I'm gonna be a terrible father." He backed up making y/n shake her head at him

"LAFD!" Y/n yelled as the three walked on "Anybody out here?"
"LAFD!" Buck this time
"Guys. Over there." Chimney pointed
"LAFD, can you hear me?" Buck asked as they ran to the man
"I'm on him." Chim told them as they made it to him he checked the man's pulse "I'm not getting anything."
"All right. Mark it. Keep on moving." Y/n nodded sadly
"Like the chief said, bound to be others." Buck added as he marked it
"LAFD!" Buck yelled "LAFD!"
"Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa." Chim stopped him "Do you hear that?" They went quiet "Sounds like a baby."
"Definitely a baby." Y/n nodded "Over there."
They ran toward the noise quickly
"It's under here." Chim said as they reached a pile of debris "All right, I got this."
"Under there." Y/n pointed in a specific spot while chim dug it our
"It's a baby monitor." Chim picked it up and looked at them "So where's the baby?"
