Feelings// 9-1-1 x Reader

𝙨𝙚𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮

"It looks like his parachute is snagged on something. He's caught underneath the airplane." Bobby said as they looked up at the man that was hanging from a plane

"He hasn't said anything on the radio." Eddie told them as he looked up the sunglasses blocking the sun, and damn did he look good "Might not be conscious."

"Let's hope not, for his sake." Chim looked up as well

"That's a memory he's not gonna wanna savor." Y/n shook her head

"We got us a concussion, possible spinal injury." Chim nodded

"And he's getting buffeted by turbulence under the plane. We're gonna need to treat him for exposure." Hen added

"Yeah, we haven't talked about how we're getting him down." Buck looked at Bobby confused

"How's the leg?" Bobby turned to him

"Uh, screws are out. Feeling great." He said even more confused

"All right." He nodded before speaking tink the radio "Dispatch, this is Captain 118. Can you get me in that pilot's ear?"

"Wild One, this is Captain Nash, LAFD. Do you copy?" Bobby asked from the truck. Hen, chim and y/n stood back watching them. Eddie and buck were on top of the truck as it drove

"Yes, sir, I do. Hope you guys figured out how to land this without killing my friend." The pilot told him

"What kind of headwind reading you getting today?" Bobby continued

"Around 10 knots."

"I need you to turn into that wind and make an approach." Bobby nodded at no one in particular

"I'm sorry, you want me to land? With Stefan still under the plane?"

"I just need you to get low enough so that we can free you."he continued

"Wait, where are you guys gonna be?"

"Right below you." He finished

"All right, Cap, we got him." Buck spoke into his radio 'Coming in hot behind us."

"Okay, hang tight and keep your hands ready." Bobby told them "Wild One, we're in position."

"I see you."

"Too high, Cap!" Buck continued "Tell him to drop it!"

"Keep dropping."they did but no low enough "Lower."

"Damn it, Cap! We missed him!" Buck continued "Too high and too fast!"

Y/n grabbed onto chim's shoulder as they watched "Oh my god they're gonna die"

"Can you drop your speed any lower?" Bobby asked

"Any slower and we're gonna stall."

"What about your flap?" He continued

"I do that, there's no going back. I'm gonna have to put her down."

"Got it. Last shot." Bobby nodded "Buck, Eddie, we've got one more shot at this. Okay, Wild One, put her down."

"All right, Cap, we see him!" Eddie told him

"Coming in hot behind us!" Buck yelled "Lower, lower, lower Keep it steady. That's it. We're almost there."

"Go, go, go!" Eddie yelled as the two grabbed into the man and unclipped him "We got him!"

"Hope this'll be the end of your flying." The girl told her mom as they walked by Eddie, buck and y/n "And your matchmaking."
