I followed Lynn to the room she told me was called the Dinning hall, where everyone sat chatting with each other. We sat down and Edmund stood up." Welcome everyone to another year" everyone started cheering and Edmund waited for them to calm down before continuing." Its time once again for the Rebirth ceremony, new arrivals step forward" Lynn smiled sadly at me like she knew something I didn't as I walked with Lora, Jane, and Clare to the front of the hall where a man with a box stood.

We lined up alphabetically and he stood in front of Clare." Its time you all learned the sacrifise of being chosen" we all looked at each other in fear." You were all chosen for a reason, and there is no going back" he opened the box to reveal four necklaces. An old silver crescent moon on a silver chain , a shinning gold star on a black chain, a ruby rose on a golden chain and a shiny bronze sun on a white chain." Choose wisely" he told Clare and she gulped before picking up the ruby rose.

" The Ruby rose, a symbol of beauty" Edmund stepped up to place the necklace around her neck, it seemed to glow and she was surrounded in a golden light before lifting off the ground. Bright shimmering green wings sprouted from her back makeing everyone clap. She landed gracefully on the ground and smiled. The wings disappeared and Edmund smiled" Welcome Clare Rivers, to your new life" she nodded and the man with the box stood in front of Jane. She choose the star and the man with box chuckled" a star from Orion's belt, a symbol of great power but are you sure your worthy of that power"

Edmund placed it around her neck but instead of glowing like Clare's did, she gasped before falling to the ground and turning yo ash. Lora and and I stood in shock" there is always one" Edmund mumbled sadly." May the ancients guide her" before the man with the box moved on to Lora who looked truly afraid. All that was left was the sun and the moon, she choose the sun." The bronze sun of Solaris, a symbol of warmth but also destruction" he told her.

I didn't even watch this time as she turned to ash and disappeared. My hands were shaking now as he held out the last one." The silver moon, warn by the founder of our kingdom, donated by her majesty and enchanted many years ago, a symbol of leadership, kindness and bravery but will it choose you, Miss Faye" I gulped as Edmund placed it around my neck. I thought of Joy and what she would do if she found out I had died this way, then I felt a warmth spread down my back and I closed my eyes.

I lifted into the air and smiled as snow white angel wings sprouted from my back. Everyone gasped at the sight of them, even the booger looked impressed. I landed like Clare had and everyone started clapping." Welcome to your new life, you have been reborn and this concludes the rebirth Ceremony" we returned to our seat and Lynn hugged me making me laugh." I knew you would make it "she told me later that night as we got ready for bed.
