Chapter 16 - This was was only the beginning
(Here it is the last chapter of book one, I'll be working on the next book but I'm trying to decide if I should do Lynn's story or just continue in Luna's POV)
After the doctor checked on her, we found out that she was somehow cured of the poison. I spent a week at the castle, just talking with her. Word had spread across the kingdom that I had been found and that the queen had been cured. I would be sent back to the school in two days, but I was making a trip back home, because I wanted to see my little sister.
As the carridge drove through the town, people stopped and stared. I waved at them and they smiled. " they've waited for you, Little sister" Luke told me and I sighed" it feels so weird, less then a month ago, I was one of them and now..."
" now your princess and soon you'll be queen" Fynn added. I spotted Joy in an alleyway watching the carridge and they caught me looking. Fynn told the driver to stop and I got out. The moment joy saw me her eyes filled with tears before she ran over. A guard was about to stop her but I told it was alright. She hugged me and I laughed" Joy what have I always told you" she looked up and smiled" I don't care, your still my big sister, even if your a princess now" then she squealed as Luke picked her up.
" so your the little thing that took our place with Luna" he asked and she nodded" I'm Joy, your highness" he frowned
" no need for that, call me Luke" her smile grew and she hugged him. Fynn rolled his eyes and I elbowed him in the side." Do you ever smile?" I asked and he shrugged before smirking. Luke climbed into the carridge with Joy and we followed him, but as I climbed in the carridge I spotted a man with red eyes watching me. He smirked just as someone passed in between him and me, but when they moved out of the way, he was gone." Luna, are you alright" Fynn asked and I nodded, before climbing in the carridge.
Unknown person's POV
So this was the princess I had been waiting centuries for. I could sense the power in her, even from here. She spotted me, her dark green eyes filled confusion, I just smirked at her before someone blocked her view of me and I disappeared into the shadows." See you soon, my sweet Luna" I mumbled as the carridge disappeared.
