The sky was dark and the moon shone bright as ever. It gave a swift breeze and a smell for all the predators. Rivers were flowing slowly.
Whiskers were sensing and paws were on the ground. Green eyes opened in a fuzzy, spotted and brown animal. Meows were heard. A smaller cat, mostly white with small black spots, ran as quickly as she could, but she stopped at a bridge over a river.
A brown cat walked closer and closer while the smaller cat attempted to hiss away the enemy. "Try and kill me, you won't go far!" She threatened. Her claws were unsheathed and her eyes were staring cold as ever.
"Okay," the spotted cat shrugged. Her claws were open too, steady in a pouncing pose. The spotted cat jumped onto the smaller enemy with claws deepened further.
The smaller cat hissed, she tried to escape. Moving left to right, the spotted cat fell off. The smaller she cat's eyes raged in fury as they fought with their mouth hissing.
The brown cat looked rather irritated. She didn't seem to bother hissing at all. But the fight went on. The smaller cat clawed the spotted opponent's torso.
Tails were twitching rapidly. The spotted opponent pushed the smaller one onto the ground. Despite exposing their weak spot, the spotted cat knew her tatics.
The smaller cat clawed harshly onto the opponent's belly. And despite the pain, the opponent's claws hitched onto her enemy's neck. Choking the little one, the spotted opponent gave no guilt in her eyes.
Blood were flowing from every scar. The opponent dodged only some of the attacks by the smaller cat while being choked. Her claws deepened even further into her neck, giving a vital scar.
The smaller cat smiled slightly, and soon. Her eyes became dull, the cat's blood was flowed too much, and so, she was dead. The spotted cat gave cold eyes. She licked her paw while sheathing her claws.
They were close to the river and on a bridge, separating the forest and the city. The spotted cat walked away. But as she walked, another cat- gray, slim, and had stripes- walked from the shadows, slowly.
"You're done for this night," he presumed. He looked taller than the cat. "I assume you're going somewhere?"
The spotted cat looked at him. She stopped her paws and stared into his blue eyes with no emotion. The taller cat walked with the spotted one.
"I was about to," she replied.
"Well, I was just going to invite you to a feast with the rest. Would you like to join?" He asked, in a polite manner.
The spotted one's head dipped lower, she thought to herself. Should it be worth it? Wondering the feast and the bins. She knew, as a stray, that the feast won't be as glorious. But her hunger was growling for some more.
"Think of it like a promotion," he continued. The spotted cat nodded her head slightly. The tabby smiled. And they walked.
The setting was in an alleyway. There were bins and bags, but the area was also filled with cats, fierce ones. Some of them were munching on mice and people's leftovers, while others were telling tales.
The gray tabby sat, lonely behind bins. He stared at his crew with no smile or joy nor did he eat with the rest. A darker brown cat, more chubby but had no spots or stripes, walked towards the gray tabby. He looked at the slim cat, who was staring with his cold blue eyes. "What is it?" The tabby asked, scornfully. He barely turned his head to the other cat, but leaned his eyes over to him.
"It's about the new member, I don't think she'll be very welcoming here," the brown cat reported. He looked at the tabby and sat down.
"How so?"
"Well, she's beginning to be quite stubborn."
"It seems to me that you don't like her very well."
"I do not," he admitted.
"Don't worry, you'll soon get used to her. A few more lies might be handy too," the tabby reassured. The brown cat nodded and left the scenery.
The spotted cat noticed the brown chubby one walking away. She looked at the tabby with a suspicious look. She noticed the tabby not feasting with the rest nor giving friendly looks. "Why do I feel like something is off with you," she whispered.
As time went by, the tabby jumped on one of the bins. "Everyone, I'd like to thank you for coming tonight. But it's time for the feast to be finished," the tabby annouced. Muttering and murmuring were heard, but the cats went on with their day.
Some of them even took some of the food with them and left. Others stayed with the tabby, curled up and rested. The tabby jumped off the bin, he went to a place where there was more moonlight.
The spotted she cat noticed him rested and curled up. She suddenly couldn't help herself, but wonder why did he make a feast? Despite the questions and suspicions, she stood up to her four paws and left the alleyway.
"It won't be long," the tabby whispered quietly.
