After countless minutes of walking, the three bgean to stop for a rest. Well, except Livie. She wanted to go further, further towards the next clue. But Juniper and Oliver were tired.

"Hurry up!" Livie demanded impatiently. Juniper gave a hatred look. He stayed put. Livie turned her head around, facing Juniper. She grew too impatient, she strolled foward towards Juniper. "

I said hurry up," Livie continued her demand in a low voice.

Juniper felt too tired, "We should take a rest first."

Livie and Juniper gave each other harsh glances. Oliver felt tense in this. He began his words, "Hey, let's not start a fight here."

"And I say we should get going," Livie replied. She turned around and started to walk. Despite the heavy hatred, Juniper went along too. Oliver followed.

"Hey, once we're finish with this, you don't have to deal with her," assured Oliver. He spoke to his friend, trying to calm Juniper. Despite his harsh anger, Juniper tried to tend it down for Oliver. He smiled slightly towards his friend.

The three kept searching and searching until the sun came down. Sunset began, but Livie kept going. Juniper felt tired of this, he wanted to stop and rest. But Livie wouldn't even let him.

After a while, Juniper stopped. Oliver and Livie noticed this. Livie's eyes grew harsher. She padded closer towards Juniper again. They both gave another tense eye contact.

"Hurry. Up," Livie demanded impatiently.

Juniper began, "You don't even know where you're going!"

Oliver did not enjoy this. Although he knew they were going nowhere, this was not good for them all. Livie hissed heavily, she unsheathed claws on her two front paws.

Juniper noticed this, his fear instincts kicked in. He was afraid and angry. He wanted to be right, but he didn't want to get scars.

"Fine, Fine!" Juniper gave up the fight, resolving Livie to sheathed her claws.

Livie noticed they were far. The tense eye contact with Juniper had her distracted to where she was going. Juniper was right. So, she turned around, facing to Juniper and Oliver.

But before she was going to say something, she noticed something. The scent. She turned around again. Livie ran faster, faster than she could. She felt something similar.

Juniper and Oliver tried to catch up, but their noodle legs weren't able to get to Livie's speed. She suddenly stopped. They were in front of bushes in a cramped street.

Livie slowly walked a step closer. Juniper couldn't see what was right in front of them, but he saw Oliver's frightened expression. He raised his head higher.

He suddenly saw a feline, dead and deceased. Juniper's sudden feelings were mixed and heavy. He noticed the cat was the mother he saw earlier. In front of her were three other dead kittens.

Livie's expression were the same. She did not feel any grief or fear. She walked closer towards the body.

"The same killer killed her," She explained. Livie looked around for clues and marks. There were only a few. The blood was fresh and there were scattered scratch marks everywhere.

Livie found a patch of dark gray hair, darker than the victim, in the mother's claws. She was surprised to know the hair was gray.

But nonetheless, she kept her cool. Juniper and Oliver kept their shocked faces.
