Juniper looked around, he saw people, pets and strays everywhere. He dangled his collar, and walked into the crowd.

He ran quickly to move out of the way. There were tons of people gathering for different things. Juniper was too focused on the cat and where she was going.

He wondered why were there many scars on her? Even Oliver doesn't get that much! Juniper had forgotten his way home. He was already too fascinated by the city life.

Juniper had felt hungry, he sniffed for any food, but all the food he smelled were from the people and he didn't want to steal the treats. He finally found left overs.

But before he could grab it, a cat, grey and white, snatched it and ran away. "Hey!" Juniper shouted, he chased the cat with his four paws. He quickly ran after her around the crowds and onto another sidewalk.

He panted, but Juniper looked at the grey cat with determination. When they stopped at a tree, the grey cat dropped the food. Juniper looked really confused.

But before he did anything, the cat hissed violently at Juniper. "Stay away!" She threatened. Her claws were sharp and she was showing teeth, sharp like a tiger.

Juniper sheathed his claws. He didn't know how to fight, but tried to come out prepared. He suddenly heard meowing from the back of the tree, they sounded like the soft whines of a kitten. There were multiple sounds, the mother looked at Juniper even more threatening.

There was a kitten's head peeking out of the tree. She looked at Juniper curiously. Juniper seathed his claws. "You have kittens?"

"Yes, I do, don't even think of hurting them!" She roared. Her orange eyes were vivid with anger. Juniper did nothing.

"Sorry," he apologized. The mother was confused. She unseathed her claws. Looking directly at the opponent. There were two kittens coming out from behind the tree.

"Mommy said not to come out until she tells us to!" Said a kitten from behind the tree. The mother smiled and licked the first one's head. She turned her head slightly to Juniper.

"What is it?" She asked.

Juniper, not knowing what to really say, replied with, "Oh! Nothing.."

"Then go, give me and my kittens privacy will you?"

"Y- Yes ma'am!" Juniper quickly ran out. He looked at the mother taking care of her kittens so softly.

He wandered to a crowd of bins. He sniffed for some food, whether it's alive or dead. Juniper looked around the area. He saw not much but plastic bins.

He then walked forward. But as he walked, a tail twitched. It was another feline. Juniper did not know why there were many stray cats around the city.

"Woah, woah! I'm not here to fight!" Juniper responded to the threatened cat. The cat he saw was much more skinny, but had more scars bleeding, they were golden with stripes. "You're- you're hurt!"

"So what? Each of these scars mean a trophy to my victories," the skinny cat growled. Juniper prepared his claws. He crouched, looking directly at the cat, who is already in a pouncing pose.

His eyes were raged in a smiling anger. He jumped on Juniper and slashed his fierce claws on the domestic cat. Juniper struggled his way to get this lousy cat off him.

Juniper merely knew how to fight, but he was willing to try any tactic he could think of. Juniper pushed himself against a wall, throwing the cat off him.

The cat stumbled back to his four legs. He looked at Juniper. He raced towards the confused cat. Both of them tried to hiss the other away.

Juniper wanted to run away. But he knew the cat would chase him otherwise.

As the cat tried to jump on Juniper. The spotted cat leaped out of nowhere and slayed her teeth onto the wretched cat. The skinny cat fell down.

"You- you killed him!" Juniper felt traumatized by looking at the body. The cat was dull, lifeless and dead. Juniper did not know what to do. He never wanted the cat to be killed, he just wanted to be left alone.

"He was about to kill you," the cat replied. "If they're a murderer, at lest give them karma."

Juniper slowly shifted his head towards the cat, "I never wanted revenge."

"Suit yourself," the cat left the body alone. She jumped back onto the bins. But before she left, Juniper looked at her and said, "Were they a murderer before we met?"

"Yes," the cat replied. She jumped down. She looked at Juniper, who is more domestic than the fierce cat herself.

"I'd assume I ought to be with you since you don't know how to fight," she assumed.

Juniper looked a bit timid. A cat that kills others but says they need karma? Uhm.. He thought. But he swiftly nodded his head, afraid he'll have to agree with force.

"Okay," The spotted cat then jumped onto the bins. She looked st Juniper who is just standing there, trembling at the body.

"You coming?" The cat asked. Juniper nodded slowly and he attempted to jump. But as usual, he fell down. The cat looked a bit irritated.

She went down, "Let's just go on paws." Juniper agreed with the decision. They both left the scene and went somewhere.
