It was already morning, the shops were opening, the streets were getting busy. And the five felines went out on their investigation.

Livie decided it was best to scout for grey cats to question as she saw fur of grey in the mother's claws. Oliver looked out for the young kittens and Juniper. He went along with whatever.

They had no idea where they were going. They were just following Livie, but does she know? Juniper looked at Livie.

"Where exactly are we going?" Juniper asked. He stopped and stood still. Livie stopped as well, and so did Oliver and the kittens. Livie turned her head, she faced towards Juniper.

"We're scouting for gray cats, because I found a darker gray fur in the mother's claws," Livie explained. Juniper didn't look completely convinced however.

Live kept on going, despite leaving Juniper behind. Oliver narrowed his eyes as he looked towards Juniper. The four kept on walking. Juniper hesitated, but he joined along.

Before Juniper had noticed, Livie ran quickly. Juniper followed as wuickly as he could to catch up to Livie. But Oliver didn't, he kept a slow pace to not leave the kittens behind.

"You!"

Livie looked at a feline in front of her. The gray cat was afraid, she didn't know what was going to happen to her.

"Y- Ye- Ye.. yes?" She kept stammering. The feline took a small step back before looking eye to eye towards Livie.

Livie gave her harsh eyes. But she suddenly hesitated on questioning the suspect. Livie turned her head around to face Juniper, who is right beside her.

"She looks too weak and scared to be the murderer," Livie whispered. As Juniper heard these words, he looked directly at the frightened feline. Livie was probably right.

But despite it all, Livie had to be sure. She raised her head slightly. "Were you in the bushes nearby here?" Livie expected a no, even if she questioned the suspect.

To her surprise, the feline answered, "Yes." Livie flattened her ears. The suspect got even more frightened.

Livie hissed, "So you did kill a mother of five kits!"

"What? No! I was there in the afternoon yesterday, there were a mother of five kits coming to rest. But I didn't do anything! I just left and didn't bother them!"

Oliver managed to finally catch up with the two kittens. The kittens gave no traumatic reaction to the frightened feline. Juniper looked at Livie, and told her to stop.

Livie stopped. She turned around and walked away. Juniper gave a small glance at the gray cat. Oliver looked confused. He and the kittens had just came, and they're leaving?

The kittens were confused as well, but the three kept on going.

Juniper realizes that Oliver and the kittens would keep being late during their questionings. He stopped. Livie looked back, thinking that Juniper was just tired again.

"I think we should leave the kittens for adoption in a pet shop," told Juniper.

Livie stared back. She walked closer to Juniper. Juniper, he didn't know what was going to happen. He thought Livie would agree since they would just slow them down, and that it could be a bit violent for the kittens, especially to what happened to their mother.

Livie refused. "And why should we?"

"Because they would slow us down and are too young to even help us investigate."

"Why not just leave them be?"

"Because they're small and young! You can't just leave two orphan kittens alone in the streets."

"Well, I was alone in the streets and turned out fine."

"I think you just turned arrogant!"

Livie hissed. She flattened her ears, and walked up slowly towards Juniper.

This made both Oliver and the kittens very scared. Oliver was anxious about their argument, he didn't want them to literally fight. And the kittens crouched behind Oliver.
