D̰a̰n̰Ḭ P̰O̰V̰ A few minutes after we got off the phone, Taliyah knocked on the door. "I got it!" I yelled over Bagel barking.
I opened the door and smiled. "Hey beautiful" I said and hugged her "Hi" she giggled hiding her face in my shoulder
"Come in" I said when we let go. "Mamá, we have company!" I yelled "¿eh?" She yelled back "¡Mamá tenemos compañía!" I yelled again
"Why are you yelling mija?" My mom asked coming out her room. I sighed, shaking my head.
"Mamá this is Taliyah" I told her "Hi it's nice to meet you" Taliyah said "ella es tan bella" my mom told me "I know" I said back. She gave me a look that said 'we'll talk later' and turned back to Taliyah.
"Hi dear. My name is Camile, but you can call me Mamá C." "Hi momma C" Taliyah said in her country accent, making me laugh a little at her failed pronunciation.
" bebé, I need you to run down to the store and get some tomatoes and avocados and sour cream." My mom told me "Okay" "Wait you eat chicken, right Taliyah?" Mamá asked her "Yes" "Ay perfect! I'm making my famous empanadas and rice" she said dancing a little

(Dani's mom; Camile) "Alright Mamá, we headin out we'll be back" I said grabbing my keys
Taliyah followed me out to my car and I opened the door for her.
I got into the car and put my seatbelt on before backing out the driveway. I looked over and Taliyah was staring at me while I drove.
"Wassup ma?" I asked her "Hmm?" "You staring at me?" "Oh sorry... you just look good when your driving" she said I smiled and laughed a little "Thank you" We sat with 070 Shake playing lowly while I drove into town.
"What did your mom say?" She said after a little. "Hmm?" "When she first saw me? She said something in Spanish and you said you know" "Oh. She said you're beautiful" She smiled and looked away for a moment.
"You really think I'm beautiful?" She asked running her fingers through her braids. "Yea I'm looking right at you" I told her honestly. Taliyah smiled again.
"I like your hair by the way." I told her "Thank you. Wanna see my nails?" "Yea" I grabbed her hand over the middle console and looked at her nails. "You like them?" She asked "Yea they cute."
I pulled into the parking lot of the store and parked as close as I could to the front. I got out and opened the door for Taliyah and helped her get out. Her short ass had to jump to get down. Then she mean mugged me when I laughed at her.
"Aight avocados and tomatoes should be in the same area." I said walking towards the produce section.
We found some ripe avocados and some good tomatoes. I got more than we would need for tonight because leftovers and I like avocados.
