₮₳Ⱡ¥₳Ħ ₱ØV̷ I sat at my vanity filming how to add curly hair to knotless braids, but my mind kept wandering to Dani. It has been three days since she told me about her trauma. I see her differently now. I thought Dani was just a caring, goofy person. But it turns out that she has been fighting darkness for so long. And she thinks she's alone. That makes me sad, but at the same time... she's so strong to have dealt with this by herself and she keeps going. It's so inspiring.
After I finish this video, I'm gonna go down to the clinic and bring her lunch. Plus I know work stresses her, so I'm hoping a surprise will relieve her stress a little.
"Ma?!" I yelled "Why are you yelling Taliyah?" She said stopping by my door. "Can I take your car?" I asked "Where you goin?" "I'm gonna stop by the clinic to bring Dani lunch. And see if Cookie can get a walk in check up."
"Okay baby be home for dinner okay?" "Kay"
I clipped Cookie into her harness and grabbed her leash. I need to go shopping for her room and there's a pet shop on the same block.
I got Dani and I grilled chicken wraps and chips because I didn't think she would want anything heavy to weigh her down.
I walked into the clinic and she smiled big when she saw me. "Hey beautiful" she got up from the front desk to hug me. "Heyy boo" I hugged her back
"What are you doing here?" "I brought you lunch and Cookie needs a check up." "Alright lemme get you settled then I can take my break okay?"
She asked me if I had Cookies paperwork and introduced me to a guy named Dale. Honestly, I couldn't really pay attention cause she looked so good in her scrubs and I could tell she was in charge and everybody respects her.
She lead me into the break room and pulled out the chair for me.
"How's work going?" I asked "Good. Had a pit with a broken leg, but we were able to stabilize her. I like your hair" "Thank you... how are you feeling?" I smiled "Good. Actually I want to go to a party." "A party?" "Yea. An acquaintance of mine is throwing a party and I wanna go. And I want you to come with me" she said
"When?" I asked her "Saturday" "I can ask my mom" "Okay"
"What you been up to?" She asked me. "I've been looking at turning the backyard shed into my nail studio" "Nail studio?" "Yea. I do nails, but I didn't set up my studio or order the rest of my stuff because we started moving." "You got pictures?" She asked "Yea wanna see?" "Show me"

"These are nice Liyah. You gon make bank for sure." She said looking through the pictures "Thank you. Now all I gotta do is convince my mom to let me use the extra space." "I'm sure you'll figure it out"
Dani and I finished eating and watched a movie on her phone for 15 minutes.
"I gotta get back to work mamas" she said. "Okay... I'll see you later?" I asked her "Yea" "Bye boo" I said hugging her tight "Bye beautiful" she squeezed me back
