🅣🅐🅛🅘🅨🅐🅗 🅟🅞🅥 *knock knock* I groaned and rolled onto my side. I really did not want to get up today.
"Taliyah, suga are you up?" My mom asked from the other side of the door. "I am now" I said sounding like I been smoking cigarettes for 40 years
"Oh I'm sorry baby" my mom said coming into my room. "S'okay ma. What's up?" "Just seeing if you were okay. Haven't seen you much in the last couple of days" she sat coming up the steps to sit on the edge of my bed.
It had been a couple of days since Dani and I watched Nani for my no good sister. Jalyn didn't end up coming home til noon the next day. Dani had to go home cause she said her mom is a "crazy Colombian" and she couldn't spend the night until her momma met me. So I was stuck watching Nani by myself overnight.
"Yea I'm fine. Just adjusting to the new development" I said sitting up. "I know it doesn't make much since to you why I let Jalyn back into our home after all she did to us. But I didn't do it for her. I didn't want that poor baby to grow up around the stuff her momma does" she said rubbing her forehead.
"I understand that and all ma, but she giving me trouble and we ain't been here two weeks" "What she say?" "She calling Dani out her name and I guess she think since I'm here that I'm an in home babysitter." I told her
"I see baby I'll talk to her and make sure she understands how things are gonna happen in my house." "Alright momma. She better tighten up or her daughter might see her momma get the mess beat outta her." I told squaring up at the air
"Mhmm" momma said chuckling. "What you getting into today?" She asked me "I have my hair appointment at 11. Remember that day I went to the mall with Dani and her friends?" "Yes I do" "Well she has a friend named Amali and she and I are going to the nail salon and then can we hang out here?" "Of course, as long as y'all don't disturb me I'm fine with it" she said getting up to leave.
I looked at the time and decided to get up and ready for my day. After I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I did my hair in a simple bun cause my hair appointment is in an hour and a half.
I cleaned my room and made my bed. I went downstairs and put some bacon in the air fryer. I made some jelly toast and cut the bacon in half and put it on top of the toast. I got some cold brew and put hazelnut creamer in it. I was bored sitting at the table so I texted Dani to see if she was up.

"Mornin boo" I said when I answered her call "Mornin mami" she said in her raspy morning voice. She was still in her bed and she looked so cute.
"You just got up??" I asked her and took a bite of my toast "I been up, but I got back in the bed... what you eatin?" She said "Some jelly toast with bacon on it. And cold brew" I told her She made a stank face at me and pretended to throw up.
"That's nasty mami" she said squeezing her eyes shut "Don't knock it til you try it" I said taking another bite "No I was talking about the bacon love" she laughed
