Rocky POV "Rocky why can't you ever just suck it up and lose like a real nigga?" Lea yelled at me. She was mad that my defense is on point. She may be a fucking giant but I can guard anyone.
"I believe in you baby" Samaria was cheering her girl on from the park next to the court. She Amali and Liyah were playing with the twins and Nani.
"Dani heads up" Lea called and threw the ball to her
"Aha" Lea stuck her tongue out at me as Dani made her shot.
"Bro this shit not even fair. Y'all gang up on me cause y'all know I'm better" I bucked at them with no reaction
"Start up again you crybaby" Dani said laughing at me
We kept playing until I was guarding Lea again and she threw the ball over the gate.
"Great job Lea" Dani bumped her shoulder "Shut up. Where were you? I needed help and you were nowhere" Lea yelled at her
"Yo this yours?" A stud with hella long braids called from the other side of the gate "Yes my friend is dumb and threw the ball" "Here ya go" she threw the ball over the gate "Aye I've never seen you around here. Did y'all just move here?" Dani asked "Uh yea yesterday actually"
"That's wassup" I said "I'm Dani" "I'm rocky and the angry giant is Lea" "I'm Zy'air and this is Lyra" she said gesturing to the little girl that was holding her hand
"Zy'air you have a key right? Cause mom lost hers again" a short girl with long hair came up behind Zy'air. "Yea here" she gave her the key "This is my sister Adriana. Adri this is Rocky Dani and Lea" "Hi" she smiled

(Lyra) "Hey did y'all wanna hang out with us?" I asked "Uh sure. We need to make some friends out here" Zy'air said
"Dani are you still using my portable charger?" Amali yelled from the park
I opened the gate to the park and let Adriana Zy'air and Lyra in
"Awe she's so cute" Adri and Liyah gushed over each other's babies "You play?" Lea asked "Yea" Zy'air nodded "Good maybe rocky will stop crying if we play 2v2" Dani said laughing "Fuck you" I said as the game started up
𝕊𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕒 𝕡𝕠𝕧 "Hi. I'm Adriana" A pretty mixed looking girl said as she walked over to us while who I'm guessing is her sister started to play with Rocky Dani and Lea.
"Im Taliyah and this is Nani my niece" "Im Samaria and this is Amali" I said
"Is this your sister?" Liyah asked "Yes her name is Lyra " "She's so pretty" Liyah said "Thank you your niece is too" Adri smiled
"Where are you from?" Amali asked "Oh we're from Chicago" "Oh that's so cool what's it like there?" I asked "Cold lol but it's nice" she laughed "Why'd you move?" Amali asked "For a new start I guess. My mom just said we were moving one day"
"Awe it's okay though" Taliyah said "Yea cause now you have us" Amali smiled
"So your friend. The one with the locs. She's nice" Adri said watching the studs play basketball "Rocky? Yea I guess" Taliyah said "I mean she invited a bunch of strangers to hang out with her" Adri pointed out "Mmm she probably just wanted to show off in front of you" Amali said "Amali why do you always call people out?" Liyah asked her
"You think she wants to impress me?" Adriana asked biting her lip a little "Probably if I know her well enough" Amali said "Oh" she said watching Rocky make a 3
"Aha look at you Lea taking that fucking L" Rocky yelled clowning Lea
"Hey did you guys wanna hangout with us in Rocky's basement?" Amali asked "You want us to go with a bunch of strangers to their basement?" "Uh yea we were gonna order food probably watch some movies" I interjected
"Zy'air?!" Adri yelled "What?" "You wanna hang out with our new friends in their basement?" "Uh yea sure" she said looking at Amali
So we all walked back to Rocky's and Taliyah dropped her sisters and niece off at home and Adri dropped Lyra off with their mom and gave her the key.
We walked up to Rockys house and she led us inside. She walked us down to the basement
Everyone was chillin while Rocky ordered wings and pizzas.
"Baby it's okay" I said rubbing Lea's shoulders. "It's not" "It is baby. You're still a really good player" I kissed her cheek.
We all talked and got to know each other as we waited for the food.
"Rocky your food is here" Ms. willow said coming downstairs. "Thanks momma" Rocky kissed her cheek "Heyy ms. Willow." We said "Hey babies" her mom smiled "Mom this is Adriana and Zy'air. They just moved here." Rocky introduced "It's nice to meet y'all I'm rocky's mom"
We ate and talked some more. "What are we watching?" I asked "Sumn scary" Dani and Lea said "Absolutely not" Amali crossed her arms "I refuse to go home scared" Taliyah agreed "You're coming home with me anyways so it don't even matter mami" Dani said to Liyah
"What about meeee?" Amali whined "Fine" Rocky said "Let's watch a romcom" I suggested "Fuck no" they said "Venom 2?" Zy'air said
"I'm down" Dani and Liyah nodded "Sounds good to me" I said "It's not scary right?" Amali asked "Alright bet" Rocky said going to it
We watched the movie and it was good but it was getting late afterwards so we all went home
