Chapter 28

"We're all done. How do you feel miss Romanoff?" Shuri asks.

Natasha feels with her hand the spot where she was hit. She barely has a scar. "I feel fine, maybe a little light headed." She sits up. "This technology is amazing!"

"Thank you. I developed it with the help of Stark." She replies. "You can slowly try to sit up and try to walk. You lost a lot of blood, so you need to take it slow for now. I can heal wounds with this technology, but the rest of your body needs to heal itself."

Natasha gets up and sits on the edge of the bed. Her feet touch the ground and she stands up.

Bucky storms back into the room. "I'm so glad you're up! Do you need my help?"

Natasha nods. "Thank you guys for saving my butt."

"That butt deserves saving." He smiles. "And we had some help tracking you down."

Natasha suddenly remembers the familiar voice she heard. She knows the voice, but still can't put her finger on it who it was. Her memories are blurry and distorted. "Who helped you?"

"We don't know. She just showed up out of nowhere and didn't tell us her name. Oh, there she is!" Bucky points to the girl who just walked in the room.

"Off course these boys needed help. They don't know the survival instincts of a Black Widow." A tall girl stands in the doorway with her arms crossed. She has blonde hair and it's braided gracefully around her head.

"Yelena!" Natasha shouts. She walks up to her and gives her a big hug. "Is been a long time since we've seen each other. Too long."

"Don't exaggerate. We called just a while ago." Yelena says.

Bucky is somewhat confused. "You know each other?"

"Yeah" replies Natasha. "This is Yelena. My sister."

"Wait.. what? I didn't know you had a sister." Bucky says.

"When you told me about him you didn't tell me he was this handsome." Yelena teases.

"Stop it Yelena." Natasha laughs. "We are not sisters by blood, but by heart. We grew up together, fought together." She sighs. "We lost contact when I escaped the black widow program.."

Bucky smiles as he sees Natasha being happy to see Yelena again. "I will leave so you too can catch up." Bucky leaves the room.

"So that is the guy you told me about, damn he's hot."

"Yelena!" Natasha can't help but smile at Yelena's reaction. "But I won't disagree with you on that."

"Hmm that ass.."

"Just stop it." Natasha stands up. "I'll introduce you to my friends."

She takes Yelena to meet the boys.

"I want you to meet my sister, Yelena. Yelena, these are Sam and Steve, and Bucky you've already met."

Sam and Steve wave.

"You're the bird man?" She asks Sam.

"It's Falcon. And yes that's me. Call me Sam."

"And you the American captain."

"Uhm yes, but you can call me Steve."

They shake hands.

"How about you telling us how why you are here, and how you found us?" Natasha asks.

They all sit down at a table next to the window with a few of New York City.

"I saw the signal from a safe house being activated. That was you. There I saw these two and assumed they were with you." She drinks her glass in one go.
