It had been two days since the villain attack. Estelle had spent that time talking to the cops and reassuring Nona that she was okay. She had also attempted to look for any leads since she was conscious it was only a matter of time when she would have to ride into battle.
Izuku Midoriya lay in the hospital bed, resting with his arms limp at his sides. The purple bruising showed the extent of his endeavour of pushing himself past his limits once again.
The class, minus a few, realised he was awake when Kaminari opened the door and smiled. They all trickled into the room. Estelle was the last one in the place and stayed standing behind them all. She purposefully remained near the exit in case she needed to retreat quickly.
"I brought you a present! It's a melon!" Mineta shouted out, holding the melon in the air. Estelle glowered at the tiny male. Who in their right mind would get a melon for a gift when their worst childhood friend was abducted?
'Don't kill him. Don't kill him.'
Estelle stood behind the class while Izuku spoke, "Did everyone come to visit?"
"No, Jiro and Hagakure are still unconscious from the poisonous gas. Yaoyorozu took a pretty bad hit to the head, too; she woke up yesterday. So, it's just us." Iida stated briskly.
"Only fifteen of us, for now," Ochako chimed in.
"Because Bakugo is gone", Shoto reminded. Estelle closed her eyes at the idiocy of the male. Why did they have to remind him?
Ashido gasped and gave the two tones boy a light scolding.
"I was so close. I needed to save Bakugo. Had to. That's the entire reason I have my quirk. It's exactly like Mr Aizawa said to me. My body wouldn't move. I couldn't save someone who was right in front of me, and since I failed, he's gone," Izuku voiced before letting out the tears of frustration.
Estelle felt for him. She understood the feeling all too well. It was like a heavy weight on your shoulders when you knew that you could have done something. The helplessness never fades away. They could only hope that Bakugo was alive and well. Considering the pair were not on the kill list, it seemed likely that the league of villains had other plans. She wondered what they had in store for her.
"All right, then let's go get him", Kirishima stated, entirely determined to save his hot-headed best friend, who will never admit that they were friends. Kirishima had then explained further what he had overheard with Yaoyorozu yesterday and how she placed a tracker on the Nomu who was in the attack.
"You should listen to what All Might said. This is not the time for us to get involved! Idiots." Iida yelled out in frustration.
"Maybe! But all I know is that at camp. I couldn't do anything! My friend was targeted, and I just stood by. Helpless. So, if I do nothing now, how can I call myself a hero or a man?!"
"Kirishima, calm down. We are in a hospital," Kaminari soothed.
"I get what you're saying! But still. Come on, Midoriya; he's still within your reach. We can save Bakugo," Kirishima tried with his hand out.
Estelle ignored the debate between her classmates until Tsu's words caught her attention.
"If you go out willingly. Knowing your breaking the rules, then you're acting like villains, not heroes."
The students remained silent.
'He's just here just to make me suffer more than I already have. It looks like it's all going to go downhill for me.
Somebody kill me and play god save the queen at my funeral because bitch I deserve it.
Sigh.'
