Estelle gazed ahead at the being before her. His long white hair reached past his shoulders and rested on his hips. His glowing grey eyes stared into hers with such smugness it began sparking at the pit of Estelle's stomach. He was beautiful, his features were striking, and his body was lean with muscle.

Estelle held in her disbelief. He looked different from when she last saw him on the battlefield. Before she could think about it, Ryah began to speak.

"I believe you are wondering why I am here?" His voice rang out in the silence of the night. His speech was unusually soft.

"Of course, I didn't realise that I was that important to you," Estelle responded with her head tilted forward in question.

Ryah spun his body to turn his back on Estelle with a hiss. "You are the only reason I am here, my dear Estelle", he retorted as if that would answer all life questions.

"But why?" She responded swiftly. Estelle's mind has been full of questions since she arrived in this world, and there were no answers. All she knew was that he had some vendetta against him, but she didn't understand why.

He turned his head to the ground before answering, "When I tricked you and pushed you into the portal - into this hero filled world. I believed I had fulfilled my greatest wish. Only to realise that this wasn't a punishment for you. It was a gift; this world is perfect for you. A Cambion who was hailed as a saviour is now a hero saving lives once again. How pitiful, I have come to rectify that, and I'll tear down this world in the aftermath."

The fury that was simmering in Estelle grew into a raging fire. Her eyes lit up with fortitude. She wasn't going to be ripped away from a planet, only to be placed in another again. Estelle sneered at Ryah before her. "There's no chance in hell I would allow that; the only place I'm going is back home where I belong, and you? You are going to be buried six feet under after I'm done."

Ryah laughed in response, his smile broadening with pity. It was like he was playing a game Estelle wasn't aware she was a part of, and she fell hook, line and sinker for it. The smile aggravated her to no end.

"Is that so? Looks like we are at an impasse. It seems that we must use our fists rather than our words, how distasteful" his voice grew from soft to manic as his eyes gained insanity. "This will be fun!"

Ryah sped forward in front of Estelle with a long bone-shaped sword as thin as ice in a blink of an eye. Estelle formed one of her own from steel and fire just in time for the blade and bone to clash. Dashing forward, Estelle and the powerful being struck blows and collided swords. Ducking and blocking so quickly that if an average person was watching, they wouldn't be able to keep up as the two blurred in their battle.

Ryah growled in disdain when he realised that weapons were leading them nowhere and began shooting tiny bone dart-shaped bullets towards Estelle. In retaliation, Estelle raised her hands in an upward motion with her air bending to hold the darts still and flicked her hands around to shoot them right back at him.

The conflict raged on, the two using their abilities to attack and defend. The strength of the two caused hundred's of pits to be left on the ground. The duo fighting wasn't holding back an ounce of strength, aware of skill the other had. Pockets of fire, water and bone laid on the mud and grass; it was indeed a sight to see.

Ryah's abilities differed completely from Estelle. He had Osteokinesis – the ability to manipulate bone. Estelle had gathered that he was extraordinarily skilled and held creative uses for his power, but he hadn't mastered it enough to work bones in others. She was highly thankful for that.

Estelle grunted as bones as sharp as knives spiked through the ground to hopefully stab at her, but she managed to manoeuvre out of the way. She retaliated with a strike of lightning, which only caught his arm as he tried to evade it.
