Estelle pushed past reporters in her attempt to reach the school's entrance. Her eyes were furious as she glared down at the journalists who were frantically asking questions about the number one hero.
Her blazing glare immediately forced the reporters to back away with a wince when she realised that politely moving them was not making any progress. When one brave journalist out of the herd stood in front with a microphone in hand to try to gauge an answer out of Estelle, she hissed at him like a snake about to fill him with venom.
He jumped back in alarm, the reporters all now backing away from her and allowing her to bask in her personal bubble whilst she walked through the crowd. Estelle was happy again; she liked her bubbles.
Midoriya watched with awe when Estelle strolled past him with ease. He was reminded of the entrance exams when she exuded dominance to control the room like an alpha female. He squealed when she grabbed the collar at the back of his neck and lifted him up, dragging him along with her and dropping him past the main doors where the vultures could not reach.
"Thank you for that! I appreciate it," Midoriya thanked with a bow.
Estelle raised a brow. "It's alright, let's just get to class."
"Yes, ma'am!" He exclaimed in response.
Estelle lowly chuckled at his antics, and Midoriya widened his eyes in dumbstruck at the unexpected noise. The red in his face came back with full force while he stuttered on his words. Estelle ignored him, and she continued to make her way to class.
"Nice going, Deku", Bakugo laughed behind him. He watched the whole exchange outside and the conversation inside the gate. Midoriya jumped, only realising now that Bakugo was behind them the entire time, and blushed harder, walking faster to the classroom so he could bury himself in his quirk journal.
Bakugo would never admit it, but he looked as idiotic as Deku when the girl controlled the reporters outside to back away. He was continuously impressed by her. It had briefly come to a halt when she dragged the green weakling with her past the doors. He couldn't help but flush alongside Midoriya when the girl huffed in amusement. He was a little displeased that it was Deku who was the one to instigate that.
Once Midoriya reached his seat, he couldn't help but smile a little at his desk. He was the first person in the class to hear her laugh; he was happy with that.
Estelle was not happy when she sat down. The drawing from the previous day still cemented itself to her desk. She noticed a few more grains of sand had fallen. Someone must have added to it. Again, she ignored it while the class settled in their seats. Aizawa walked in with a coffee cup with the label 'The Beanery', which brought a tiny flicker of happiness to Estelle's heart.
"Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo. You're talented. So, don't sulk like a child about your loss, okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, whatever."
"Midoriya. I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. Don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your Quirk. That line's already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here. Your Quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. Show a little urgency, huh?"
"Right!"
"Lastly, Estelle. Good use of teamwork; that's the stuff I want to keep seeing. Though next time, don't just stand there."
"Hmm."
"Right, let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future."
"Is it another quirk test?" The class asked.
